Smack a new name on it some new props in the queue and some simple projection mapping effects before the drop track and call it a day without fixing any of the show buildings effects or the currents.

Um... did they add effects? I just had a incredible drop track theme I dont remember. Tons and tons of strobing on the leaves, music, and then mega loud scream over a speaker before it dropped

I don't think so. I rode it today and the curtain that was left to divide drop track effects from the entry launch was gone

I know they have different themes. I always got the wolf one and some other one that barely did anything. So whatever this one was was awesome. Maybe it was a storm theme

I went on the Coaster Tour in July and we were told they pulled the curtain down because it was starting to fall apart from age.

We were treated to a ride with the lights on in the ride building and for me it was the coolest part of the tour. Riding again after with the lights off put in contrast how badly they need to add effects back - you lose a big component of the ride in complete darkness with no lit elements you can use as a frame of reference for how fast you are moving.

Can Pantheon also get theming?

It is a very real proposal internally. We just have to keep supporting the renovation and retheme projects as we get them. If United Parks keep seeing returns on these park-level-lead retheme projects (as they did with Nessie and hopefully will with Vbolt), United Parks will keep giving BGW the money to do them.

I don't consider a retheme a "new" attraction. Buuuut I guess some will think otherwise

Saturday 2pm will see the announcement of Verbolt & Verbeautiful -- a whimsy-filled renovation of Verbolten which takes guests on a zippy convertible tour through a lushly colored and brightly lit German mountainside forest. Dappled with sunlight shimmering through the lush canopy above and frequented by peacefully grazing robotic deer on the forest floor below, Verbolt & Verbeautiful will delight riders with one of three randomly selected soundtracks and accompanying visual projections: "Songbirds of Stuttgart," "Prancing Germanlings," or "Woodcutter's Delight." A sprightly, thrilling descent from an ornate fairy treehouse atop the forest's captivating Wundertree will be quickly followed by a magical zip to the top of an antique wooden bridge under loving renovation by a team of smiling werewolf animatronics. From there, Verbolt & Verbeautiful will treat guests to a spirited finale, diving to the Rhine River's edge for a quick hello from a school of singing coin-operated water cannon fish before returning to the visitor center of tour operators Gerta and Gunter Frohwald for a song-filled farewell.

QR code sharing is actually Verboten, not Verbolten ☝️🤓
