If a project were to happen for 2026, shouldn’t we be seeing something starting relatively soon in terms of permits site clearing etc?

Project 2026 could just as easily just be general stuff like thematic enhancements, upgraded food offerings, new shows, etc. most of which wouldn’t require permits to do site clearing. The only thing we know is up for chance is Italian Le Mans

Projects like that are always interesting to me with the dualism of opinions they create. The “GP” generally doesn’t talk about them and it doesn’t pull them in but they love it.

“Thoosies” either plot this course of love it and needed or “it’s not what the people want”.

Personally I love it. I wanted to see something like this for a while where the park gets some love.

Plugging my idea for a black forest dark ride, inspired by the potential dark ride reference in the survey. Doubt BGW would go this route, but it’s a pretty fleshed out concept. Feedback very much appreciated!

If I had it my way I would have put LeMans raceway back where the proposed event building was behind the Royal Palace theater and in Italy have an extreme spinning coaster

Don't think I've seen this mentioned here, but I wonder if it's possible we see something at WCUSA next year if the Le Mans 2.0 plans have fallen through/are delayed? I know in the past many of BGW's off-years/smaller years WCUSA will get something. Not too sure of the exact timeline of building a new waterslide, but seems like now is probably too late if they weren't already at least eyeing something. Maybe if they were looking at something for 2027 they could still have time to fast track it and have it ready for next season though?

Waterslides are often easier to manufacturer as they require less support columns than most attractions, and the more labor intensive work would be the pool it would need unless they do it a la Riptide Race where the splash pool is an above ground fiberglass piece. So it’s not out of the question for them to look into that.
