Here is my hope/prediction for the next 5 years after Wolf's Revenge:
2026 - Da Vinci's Cradle Replacement (Zamperla NebulaZ themed to gear, pulleys, etc.)
2027 - Off Year (Maybe a new show or something.)
2028 - Big Thrill Coaster (Any of the circled places in the BGWFans tweet above.)
2029 - Le Scoot for two options - Removal (end of service life/future developments) or Refurbishment.
2030 - Removal of a roller coaster - (Apollo's Chariot is my guess. Reasonings being, the B&M "rattle" and technology advancements. By that time it will have a lackluster ride experience.)

Feel free to comment, critique, or anything else. Have fun with it!

Last I knew, a final decision for 2026 has not yet been made—and what Kevin said today at the town hall sorta suggests that's correct.

There have been rumors about a lot of different small to medium-sized projects hitting my inbox over the last year or so and most of them are accounted for in the teaser image I posted back in September.

I've gone on the record on social media already stating that proposals exist for Pantheon enhancements, but I've been pretty quiet on the others.

Broadly, consider my 🎰 teaser to be areas of potential investment in the years ahead. Because of the previously mentioned proposal, Pantheon is one of those areas of potential investment. I don't think that's the plan for BGW's theoretical 2026 addition, but it could be. Three of the other areas I'm highlighting are the Killarney Sim Building, the Da Vinci Cradle plot, and the Mäch Tower site. None of those should be surprising at all though. I'll leave the other three a secret for now.

Ultimately, I doubt we'll see projects greenlit for all of these sites anytime soon, but it should give you some idea of what I'm keeping an eye on given the credible rumors I've been hearing and the evidence I've seen.

Could it be possible for them to bring back Corkscrew Hill for the 50th anniversary of BGW, I mean they still have the simulators so wouldn't it make sense for them to bring it back, people really want it to return also, why not bring it back.

I'd be very surprised to see the existing simulator ride system in Killarney open again. The ride system was already limping along when Europe in the Air was around. Reinvesting into it yet again would really shock me. Hopefully whatever they're considering for the space involves a new ride system inside the existing building.

Unless they're getting a new haunted house for 2025 HOS, I don't see them taking out Killarney Diner for any ride replacements.

Three years ago Kevin said that the ride systems were considered closing in on end of their operating life prepandemic and that they were not worth the investment to return them to operating after it. I doubt that opinion has changed.

I can’t find a decent name for this attraction but it would be perfect for a park that has so many nostalgic and devout fans.

As you enter the attraction through the caves you can hear the sounds of past attractions from the park. “Journey at the speed of fright… “ “you have such hunger for my secrets?!” “Ugh faeries! Get those pesky little creatures out of my pub!”

You enter into the first room which serves as a museum of old attractions from the park. Old posters and merch from the 50 year history of the park, old maps showing the evolution of the park. Maybe even have a coaster car or two inside for
Photo ops. You are told to head into the next room.

A window shows a lab-like set up built into the scenery And a staff member appears. This is Patrick, a member of Busch Gardens’ Research and Development team. He explains that this spot appears to be built on a rift of time, meaning echoes from the past are slipping through which is why the attraction has been closed for so long. He then explains that the park has created a way to send guests through the rift and experiences their favorite attractions now defunct. He assures us it’s totally safe and they haven’t lost anybody yet… this week. He urges you into the next room to begin preparations for your voyage to the olde country.

Here you would watch a decently entertaining safety video explaining the protocols and would be themed to experiments and safety protocol.

As you enter the ride, you may notice the screen that use to be here is no longer here. This is because the old ride system and projection tech would be ripped out and instead a 360 projection dome with a ride system capable of 360 degrees of movement would be added.

Your journey begins as a rift in time appears and you blast out into a scene from questor followed by corkscrew hill. Something seems to go wrong as your vehicle is launched out of the castle and into Aquitaine as you race on le manns raceway, bumping into cars, completely out of control. You then get sent into old Oktoberfest where you find yourself on glissade for a brief moment before flying off the track and onto drachen fire. Here the ride system may be slightly “rougher” as a joke. You then fly off and get hooked onto the track of big bad wolf venturing forth into the Bavarian village and down the hill. You swing around and fly off grimms hollow , go
Through one of Nessie’s loops and crash into the petting zoo. As Patrick attempts to bring you back, he accident sends you into Hastings and the old shooting gallery and crashing through The Enchanted Laboratory and having pelinore especially fly at the audience through the destruction. Finally you come to a halt back in the ride building hearing the last few lines of questor before the time rift takes you back to your proper time. Patrick’s thanks you and wishes you a good rest of Your day as he accidentally leaves the microphone on and tries to convince his aide to take the blame this time.

As you exit you’d see various “props and pieces” from past attractions stuck into the wall as if the debris was brought back too.
Check out This 50th anniversary idea!! Kudos to @Hamptonian

They’re not removing Apollo’s Chariot as long as it’s a reliable people eater. The only coaster that maybe could be on the chopping block in the near future is Tempesto and even then I doubt it.

I'd assume that Apollos is more likely to be retracked in the future than removed. That ride is visible from outside the park and has a majestic look to it when entering. Would make no sense to remove a ride like that absent major failure.

Don’t forget that Le Scoot had a massive refurbishment back in 2015. New fiberglass trough, new drainage basin, new theming, new boats. It’s essentially a 10 year old ride. I wouldn’t expect it to go anywhere for a long time.

I would go more like this I think for a "things" of Project 2026:
Da Vinci's Cradle Replacement.
Fix Finnigans Flyer themeing
Put some plantings in Pantheon's infield
Theme Pantheon's queue
F&B program overhaul

Moving forward for the following 4 years:
2027 - Do something new in Killarney Sim space for attraction
Fix VBolt's theme

2028 - Mach Tower replacement
Refurbishment of current flats
EfP refurbishment
Food and Wine festival overhaul

2029 - Retrack Alpengeist
Festa Italia theme update

2030 - New thrill coaster using Castle O'Sullivan for station with majority of track outside the park
Add some games/move flats into/add F&B option into Pantheon's area and springboard a new hamlet.

I did forget to add that possibly in 2032/33, with the removal of Apollo's Chariot, they would hopefully make the best decision with a B&M Giga or RMC. If an RMC doesn't go somewhere else in the coming years.

Thoughts? 👍🏻 👎🏻?

I'd sooner expect the removal of Alpengeist than Apollo's Chariot, it's rougher by far. I'd also wait to see what happens to Kumba in the next five years first. If Kumba gets retracked instead of scrapped and the plot redeveloped, I have a feeling Alpengeist would receive the same treatment.
