Hopefully we might get some new flat rides to fill in the spots left behind in Mach Tower and Da Vinci's Cradles' removal. Also 2026 will mark the 50th anniversary of the Oktoberfest section of the park, maybe some plans for that area next year? Crossing fingers for the return of "This Is Oktoberfest!".
I didn't even know Oktoberfest wasn't open when the park 1st opened

That was the part that always surprised me as well but it's true. It was the park's first expansion in 1976, because of not only the high attendance of its opening year in 1975 but was built in response to the general public's slight complaints that there weren't enough rides for families and that it was a "quality shopping experience to some". It's an interesting historical fun-fact of BGW that I was surprised about when I first read it years and years ago.

Off topic, but was the bridge that is no longer existing behind Mach Tower in place opening year? And everything to the left just wasn’t there?

Wondering what the purpose of the bridge was. I’d imagine some kind of expansion made it obsolete in an effort to increase sales at shops/restaurants.

I also hope they bring back This Is Octoberfest. One of the better shows in Das Festhaus.

And for the love of god please no more Nebulaz. I feel like anyone who desires one hasn't even ridden them.
I think the Nebulaz is an enjoyable ride experience. I've ridden Clockwork at The Island in Pigeon Forge, TN and it's pretty fun. Everyone has their likes and dislikes and the Nebulaz falls into my like category. And at the end of the day, it's a flat ride. It's a ride people can go on while they're on the way to the big coasters.

The bridge was constructed when Oktoberfest was built and opened in 1976. It was created to prevent Oktoberfest from being a dead-end and tied it back into Rhinefeld. The path next to Marketplatz wasn't always there either so guests had to walk all the way around the arcade to get towards the rides on the Rhine side of the hamlet.

EDIT:
I'm pretty sure the bridge was actually intended to be the main entrance to Oktoberfest. The way Glissade was positioned, it was a very obscure path between it and Marketplatz

The bridge was removed sometime after Italy was built in 1980 as it completed the circuit for the park.

I like the NebulaZ for what it is but I don't think it has any business being in anything other than small to midsized parks. The capacity is dreadful and I really dislike how slow the load is. At Hersheypark theirs always had a long line and it was honestly not worth waiting in it for.

I kinda took the beer garden to be Mach Towers replacement, although maybe it's not, I don't drink so I'd rather see a ride there than a beer garden. I'd still love more than anything to see an Ellipse Flyer replace Cradle like what has been suggested on here a few times now.

Has anyone ever ridden one of these Zamperla Power Zurge rides? These look really cool, although I could also see a world where they're like NebulaZ's, and look 100x more fun than they actually are. I could see BGW putting one of these in Aquitaine or San Marco

It's not  bad, but it's not nearly as good as it looks. I find it often goes in to replace a thrill flat and I'd almost consider it a family ride.

That said, I'm never knocking the  person for what they like/dislike (except Millie haters can fuck right off) I despise ferris wheels, drop towers, and Windseekers, yet many love them. I'm only advocating against more Nebulaz because they tend to replace good flats with what I believe to be an underwhelming ride. I'd take an Enterprise, Frisbee, Spider, Top Scan, Screamin Swing, or even a Music Express over a Nebulaz.

Edit: I've ridden that same Nebulaz and found their spinning kiddie parrot coaster to be better. Just my 2c though.

A new flat ride, new show, and possibly landscaping/food/theming enhancements are what's very likely for 2026.

I’m totally ok with the park riding on Pantheon, Darkoaster and Wolf for a while and let the park focus on refurbishing things. Verboltens que and inside portion need some love. I know everyone wants a new ride but I think the park needs to focus on customer growth and cost efficiency. Wolf and Darkoaster have been added to boost that middle class family demographic who wants more options for the pre-teen set.

I agree with the rest of this, but what does "Wolf and Darkoaster" have to do with "that middle class family demographic"?

More family friendly… your average family of 2.3 kids between 6-12 that are the demographic the park seems to be focused on

It will never in a million years happen but I would kill for the VIP Parking Lot to be replaced with an Irish themed dark/boat ride. No animatronics or other complicated systems necessary. Go old school with the sets and use screens for anything dynamic. Like a scaled back DarKastle

I just want something highly themed (that I can actually ride), right now it’s just Verbolten and Pompeii

England lot? No chance. Thats for passmembers to and when its not busy I would much rather park there than have a family ride of any sorts there

I thought it was on the chopping block for some reason, thought I read that somewhere. Either way I want a dark ride. That should be the takeaway of that message
