Placement is great, theming looks solid, layout looks really strong, but, uh, that POV footage looks like rattle city. Hopefully it's just the world's worst camera mount? Care to weight in @ThrillNerds?

Would love to hear from someone who has Phoenix Rising and Wolf's Revenge as well. Consensus is that Wolf's Revenge is way smoother than Phoenix Rising. Will be a really interesting datapoint if there has been backsliding. Maybe there's really something to the zero car...?

Here’s something that I am extremely annoyed about:
Park: builds new family friendly roller coaster, meant for all ages
Thoosies: “bUt it hAs a RaTtLeE!!!1!!1”

Why can’t thoosies look past the initial ride and look at it as a whole? The average guest isn’t gonna give two shits about a minor rattle/vibration.

It can be both a super relevant issue to discuss in thoosie circles and not at all detrimental to the attraction for its target audience.

I believe B&M shouldn't be building the roughest, least comfortable, least accommodating family inverts on the market and I think it would be a good thing if parks were discouraged from buying them until B&M figures out their shit. The parks deserve a better product than B&M is currently delivering.

How are the new vekoma family suspended vs B&M?
Depending on how good the park is at shimming wheels, the new Vekoma Family Suspended Coasers can be glass smooth. The newer Vekoma FSCs are more accommodating than the B&M trains. The B&M trains will not accommodate riders who have thick legs as the contour on the lap bars sharply pokes down on the side of the seat, the contour on the Vekomas' lap bar does not. (Note that the older Vekoma FSC have very restrictive over the shoulder restraints.)

All of the B&M family inverts built so far are were built to not be very intense, Vekoma has made slightly more intense models (see Fianna Force). Vekoma will happily sell an off the shelf design if you want lower engineering costs (see the 453 meter model installed 14 times - incuding Dragonflyer at Dollywood, and the 395 Meter model installed 8 times - including Freedom Flyer at Fun Spot America Orlando).

Yesterday's media day was a shit show for sure. We were supposed to get on the ride at noon. But they had not even finished some primary testing such as projectile testing(basically things falling off the ride to make sure they don't hit the pathway)

The camera rigging on the lead car was massively overdone. Super rigid. so if there was any shake to the ride it likely felt it.

I dont want to go out and say omg the ride is rough and this rattle is unbearable. I enjoyed the ride, the interaction with the water is great. The theming is great. I love the station and ride presentation.

But ill admit, it does feel like driving on cobblestone. Does it ruin the ride? no.. is it annoying? yes.

oh and for comparison, Big Bad Wolf 2.0 is far smoother and rides great. This ride really is a bit more intense than that one, and carries a lot of speed through its circuit.

Na Fianna Force is an STC, different model than the SFC.
