Well if we're going that direction, didn't Rick and Morty episodes focus on that sort of thing but just different verbiage: inter dimensional cable?

Man would that be an interesting choice for theme park IP integration...

Well, Six Flags still does have their relationship with Warner's IP (to this point mainly Looney Tunes and DC Comics), which includes Rick and Morty. And now Kings Dominion can technically get access to stuff like that.

There was a also what looked to me to be a gazelle in the video they posted Friday.

Based on the two current teaser videos, it seems the animals represent existing or upcoming attractions. The first one had the gazelles and a monkey. The 2nd one had the leopards, crocodile and spider. Course, 3 of the 5 animals represent the existing Jungle-X attractions. The leopard potentially represents the Project 305 retheme makeover. Then what do the gazelles represent?

Could this be something to do with Backlot? Safari jeep theme with Gazelles in the theming

Just wanted to come back and remind everyone that the cheetahs and leopards that everyone is seeing are actually supposed to be jaguars. Cheetahs and jaguars are commonly mixed up, so no hard feelings! 😂

For the record, I, too, am a Jaguar believer from the lore side of things. No clue which way marketing will go with the actual theme now that we're nearing implementation though.

This is an easy (not cheap) solution:
  • Switch BLSC to Jeeps/Rovers and theme it accordingly. It all needs a TON of love anyway.
  • As much as Zachary would hate this, do the stupid Aliens in the jungle theme, but actually put thought (read: budget) into it. That's the secret they uncover while doing research on all the animals or something dumb like that.
  • 305 gets the design from Talladega Nights where it's just a stock car with a big cat on it. Budget goes to installing shade in the queue and pathway.
  • Kidding about the last one, but in all reality...... 305 go meow.
  • Anaconda holds on for a few more years until they put a proper new coaster over the pond.
  • Re-sign Excavator's Taters so that it gets more attention and those new customers can drive enough profit to ACTUALLY FRIGGIN OPEN IT.
  • Bring back the show. Make it dynamic so the whole area is included and/or has thematic elements that change. Mist kicks on. It starts to "rain" in the trees. Sounds play.
This would become the best themed area in the entire CF side of the chain.

hey, funny enough, I won't be surprised if six flags/cedar fair makes a deal with sony to add talladega nights to 305, I mean, if I can mention South Park and/or Microsoft taking over half of the boardwalk area at great adventure, anything is possible
look sorry, just didn't read bwick29's other mention underneath the idea for 305 but still, I can see that work in a sony pictures theme park if they build one

What is the likelihood I305 is getting re-themed for next year? Personally, I would rather they go with the space theme honestly... similar to Kings Island and make it an "Area 72". It's "cheaper" than having to re-theme both Flight of Year and I305. But with Rapterra for next year I'm not sure they will do anything. Anyone have any intel?

Don't be disappointed if BSC is left untouched, at least for a long time. I'm expecting that and for FoF to just have some vines and foliage added to its exterior. And I305 will have minimal retheming aside from new track/train paint jobs. Maybe some ruins in the queue if we're lucky.

KD has done a great job so far, but I think it's best to keep expectations relatively low so we don't disappoint ourselves and get mad at KD for not spending money they don't really have. If I'm wrong I'll more than happily eat crow
