Honestly those thoosies are just a loud minority who are easily ignorable, and this extremely well-themed family coaster is exactly what this park has been needing for YEARS now. Busch Gardens Williamsburg will get a big thrill coaster someday that "puts the park on the map", but not right now.

I really hope they wait until like 2028 for the next coaster. Maybe 2029. Give it a few years with this lineup.

That being said, if they wanna continue with the nostalgia bait, the Drachen Fire name/theme/colors would look AMAZING on a massive RMC. They’ve got room back there afaik.

My dream roadmap is Le Mans + a new DaVinci flat in 2026, Verbolten refurb in 2027, Ireland flying theater in 2028, Drachen Fire RMC in 2029

This was our first time ever being at a new ride premier, and it didn’t disappoint. BBW is a great addition to the park. It might be a little tame compared to some other rides in the park, but the theming and opportunities to enjoy classic elements from the original make this a solid and endearing ride.

It would've been fun if the second half of the coaster veered off into the woods, but if the planted trees come in well, the effect should be there. And that night video above is great. It almost is already a black-out coaster, like many parks do for Halloween. I wonder if they'll turn off the service road lights when Halloween comes around for total darkness or if they need stay on for legal/safety reasons. Also, that sign is incredible.

Its official opening day is set for the 23rd, and I think the reason why is that the ride won't open until then is that the park wants to put in the final details and make sure everything is complete; like theming/details, operations, the ride-audio consistently working etc.

Just got off my first ride in the back row. It’s a fun little ride. Very smooth, there was no noticeable vibration of any kind in the back row.

I would say I think Dragonflier is more fun for forces but Big Bad Wolf 2 is a strong ride for Busch Gardens Williamsburg as a park that lacked anything close to the 42” height requirement. The immersiveness of the ride really elevates the attraction. Families will love this ride and I think it’s one of the better family coasters around.

BGW badly needed good rides at that 42" height. KD and HP are way better experiences for families with younger children, and it really shouldn't be that way as BGW has a great atmosphere for kids.

Why cant they paint Verbolten's show building to match the backside of Der Autobahn or maybe even some kind of barn like structure? Or better yet paint all the original Wolf village buildings on it. Make the thing a giant village mural down to the arch the train dove through and even the lone Anton Schwarkopf light pole too!
What’s this about a light pole??
