Kevin is a mid park president at best. I can barely watch his low energy in any interview. The decisions made post Pantheon have been insulting to enthusiasts. It’s pretty obvious there are many park employees masquerading on here. While mini BBW does add a needed lower ride height coaster. Wasting the Drachen Fire plot and Queue house on this ride has caused me to cancel my pass, it’s a complete waste.

Yeah, nothing insults enthusiasts more than spending millions of dollars to preserve Loch Ness Monster. 🙄

No one will ever be perfect, but the current team at BGW is doing a far, far better job than most would be able to given their circumstances.

I love hearing people complain about how the highly themed spiritual successor to the coaster that made me an enthusiast isn’t good enough for them while I have to watch these updates knowing I can’t ride it.

Y'all are entitled and sound ridiculous. I’m more upset about missing this coaster than I am about pantheon

Griffon still stands as the tallest coaster at 205’. IMO this is unacceptable with a giga up the street. It would honestly be hilarious if KD built a B&M giga to pull in the crowd that was too intimidated for i305, and had 2 gigas. I’m just frustrated with back to back family coasters and BBW decling quality across service, operations, food and Bev, and truly outstanding rides.

I don’t think Phantasialand has a single coaster over 100 feet, and I would trade almost any park in the states for it in a heartbeat.

I’m not sure what you want from BGW if you only care about coasters and records. It’s always been about the vibe, and Big Bad 2 fits the vibe better than any addition since InvadR

Guess what. The audience of the park isn't enthusiasts, it's normal people.

Sounds like KD is JUST the park to suit your needs especially now that you've cancelled your pass.

“normal people” used to enjoy the thrill of record breaking coasters. Alpengeist turned me into an enthusiast.

I said what I said. It should have been Drachen Fire’s revenge. 🔥🐉 Kind of shocked more people aren’t frustrated by this.

Mini BBW is 38% lower in height. 17% slower. No swing trains, and no dive down to the Rhine River.

I don't think BGW should have named any new coaster "Big Bad Wolf." I don't think BGW should have designed their 2025 coaster to block off so much of the expansion land around Festhaus Park. I don't think a family coaster should have taken the former home of Drachen Fire. I've written extensively about all of these gripes. It's reasonable to hold all of those opinions while also acknowledging that BGW is doing a really respectable job with recent cap-ex projects overall. So much of the park's recent new construction/renovation work has been stellar and we should praise them for it.

Again, carrots and sticks, in conjunction, work. Pantheon was rightly mocked relentlessly for being one of the worst presented, flagship coasters in the country. BGW tried to do better with DarKoaster and again, people, rightly, identified what they liked and highlighted where the project fell very short of its potential. Then we got the Loch Ness renovation which received nearly unanimous praise for its execution. BGW is listening and adjusting.

Make no mistake either: BGW's park-level folks have had to fight tooth and nail to make those adjustments happen. There were many times when core parts of the Nessie reno were primed to fall through due to budget cuts and unexpected twists in the road. The backroom maneuvering that BGW park-level management had to employ to bring that project over the finish line in the state that we saw last year was significant. I know people aren't privy to that side of things and I hate that BGW can never receive the credit they deserve because the intricacies can't come to light, but I assure you that, from everything I've heard, BGW park-level folks played their hands PERFECTLY to give us exactly what we all wanted from that project.

Now, after receiving all those carrots for Nessie, we are seeing a coaster with more ride-area theming than almost anything else outside of Florida or California in the last couple decades. That is INCREDIBLE and we should keep that shower of carrots coming for BGW. Sure, hit them with the stick re: land use, placement, the name, etc. but also highlight just how incredible most of this project is looking too.

Lastly, I will say this: I hear a ton of whispers from inside BGW and many are things that I just can likely never share. That said, as someone with my finger as close to the pulse of the park as I can get it, it is my perception and understanding that, broadly speaking, BGW management knows what their base wants and are, legitimately, attempting to provide it. There are times when their decisions look absurd from the public's point of view, but, at least sometimes, you may be surprised how much sense some of those decisions make when you have a more complete picture. I'm not saying you should just give the corporation the benefit of the doubt—you very much shouldn't—but you should also keep your limited viewport in-mind before you judge individuals inside that corporate machine. There are times when what looks like a bad outcome to us is, legitimately, the best possible outcome once you have a more complete understanding of the innerworkings.

I'll have more to say on that last bit soon, hopefully.

I don’t have a problem with this. In the beginning I was disappointed by TBBW:TWR, but now that I’m seeing it and they’re actually trying to work with what they got, I’m fine with it. This is going to be a fun little family coaster, with ride area theming. I have absolutely no issues with this ride.

Always appreciate your hard work Zachary.

Looking at the footage that was shot by YT insiders of the tour, this coaster might have the possibility to be more forceful and faster than advertised. Not to mention that from a coaster visual level standpoint, it's already way better than Pheonix Rising at Busch Gardens Tampa. Though I guess that's not saying much. Count me in on being more hyped for Big Bad Wolf: The Wolf's Revenge than Rapterra at KD.
