I think they're leftover from illumanights or some Summer event but I do know that they were on the Maypole in front of the festhaus they'd actually been sitting in the boneyard for a while but no one has ever bothered to move them

Maybe they could be putting a maypole in the village and the butterflies could be repurposed for that?

That village looks awesome. I'm really glad they went with full 3D buildings and not just 2D plywood facades like the original plans showed. I hope the rest of the planned buildings start to show up soon.
It really does. I do see some of the 2D plywood flats that were part of the original plans, but again, having additional 3D buildings as part of the village set should help with theming tremendously.

I wonder if this will get some sort of overlay for Howl-O-Scream...
Definitely not this year, maybe not even next year, but maybe in the future, since this ride already has that sort of theme.

On another note, I love the nostalgia campaign they've been on recently - DarKoaster being a sequel to CoDK, Loch Ness 2.0, and now rebuilding their most iconic coaster. More of this, please!

The "flat" buildings are certainly as detailed as the fully framed buildings. In theory, from looking at it, you shouldn't be able to tell they are "flat" due to the angle the riders approach the turnaround. The only reason they are partially framed is for an access road to the boneyard.

I'm actually impressed with how little of the boneyard is actually gone while still allowing the layout to cross the railroad. All that was truly used is still there. More clearing that was done also allows for more storage space. Really, nothing was lost over there.

Is that wood structure that's going up the supposed entry building that was there in the plans, or is it part of the Bavarian village theming?

The second photo? Yep, I think that should be the entry portal structure/locker building.

I think we may also be seeing the start of foundation work on some of the village wall in those shots too?
Wow the park is really going all out with its theming, aren't they? Hopefully the theming they put on Loch Ness Monster last year is a hint as to what they're going to do with Big Bad Wolf.

All of the village buildings are vertical. The building adjacent to the second lift is an electrical building for the lift.
So did they cut the village wall and the other village buildings scattered throughout the ride area? :(
