Yeah and I doubt Busch is the type to pull a late season opening (jul-sept) on purpose...Also I’d feel that this would be a 2025 project at this rate? There hasn’t been any lane clearing for it to be a 2024 attraction imo

In another Park Fans post they are talking about how SEAS might add more flat rides to BGW during the 2024 season. We could see construction start for the flat rides soon and construction for the coaster project start next year. Also I’d feel that this would be a 2025 project at this rate? As we saw with Pantheon's anticipated opening in 2021 large crowds can actually be a reason to not open a new attraction.Looking ahead but Williamsburg is "anticipating" huge tourism in 2026 as well, for the Sestercentennial.
I don’t think BGE had a problem with it from a business perspective and it didn’t cost them future business as far as we can tell… I’m sure tgst BGE would love the park filled to just past capacity every day.As we saw with Pantheon's anticipated opening in 2021 large crowds can actually be a reason to not open a new attraction.

I can't find anything on an extention for the FAA height waiver which was the only one the park had filled for with this project. I would assume at this point someone decided that refiling would not be an issue and opted to wait till they had a more definite timeline rather then making repeated extention request.has anyone bothered to check the height waiver for an extension, given that work was slated to start over 4 months ago and every sign points to it being 2025 now.
I’m almost guaranteeing this will be a 50th Anniversary project, and a 220 foot RMC I think would be an amazing addition for their golden anniversaryhas anyone bothered to check the height waiver for an extension, given that work was slated to start over 4 months ago and every sign points to it being 2025 now.
During Kevin's Q&A on Wednesday, he was asked a question about attraction selection. As part of his answer, he stated that he didn't think Busch Gardens Williamsburg needed another attraction with a height requirement above 48 inches over the next few years.
You know what massive coaster doesn't have a height requirement taller than 48 inches? Iron Gwazi.
Just some food for thought.
