Looking at the discussion, and I doubt it; but has anyone thrown out the Vekoma card yet? I noticed a comment speaking of another group being consulted. My mind wonders if BGW could go for a Vekoma hyper model, one that could go near the Rhine for a portion of the layout.

I mean the other ones that would actually fit at the park would be an S&S looper thingy, an Intamin hyper, and a Mack hyper. I don’t see them going with the S&S bc of how troubled steel curtain and the Intamin hyper would likely be redundant to Pantheon.
Steel Curtain is an oddity with S&S and I think it's unfair that the entire company gets judged by a single ride. SEAs clearly is giving S&S lots of business already and don't seem to be having major issues so I don't think it's outside the realm of possibility.

I would love a Steel Curtain Style looping hyper more than a RMC. For marketability they could do 10 inversions and then advertise it has the most inversions in north america.

At that point just go to gerstlauer and ask them to break their own record lol

Agreed. If KI won't fill Vortex's plot with an inversion record setter, Drachen Fire's plot would be just as good a place for such a ride. After all the focus on airtime and whip directional changes, I'd like to see inversion-focused coasters become cool in the high-thrill world again.

But what about the fastest longest straddle coaster on the west coast? Seems like an unreachable record to me.
Dont forget the worlds fastest multi launch coaster nor Drachen Spire which would be the tallest coaster in the mid atlantic.

Just a reminder: The FAA waiver is for 220ft above grade at the location of Drachen Fire's former peek. Given that, the mythical RMC giga can't be for us.
Was not sure where to post but would be nice to see it at BGW…… how far from ground level is the rhine in that area? Top of lift hill at 220 could the rhine hill add the extra 80 needed from the terrain?
