The landscapers finished up a good bit ago now, but there hasn't been any other movement on the site since. Given that we're already in the mid-afternoon and it's a Sunday, I think we're probably out of luck for today. This week should provide a lot more action though. Hopefully others can keep an eye on the coaster over the coming days and score some good footage!

How’s the landscaping look so far in association with the previous plans we had?

As far as I can tell, it looks just as robust as the plans—there are a bunch of new trees in Festhaus Park. Plus, there's even more theming than the plans showed—we've seen those fortification spike things at the bottom of the drop off lift two for weeks now, but there are also pillars setup around the final turnaround for what are almost certainly banners and a maypole or similar in the middle.

The queue entry building also looks great with the carved wolf heads on the ends of the beams to match the carved dragon heads that were left over from Drachen Fire on the station building. The new maintenance bay and the renovated gift shop building are also lookin' great.

I see no reason to worry about any thematic or scenic cuts thus far!*

* At least in so far as the ride area. We haven't seen any work on the modifications around the side of Festhaus that were shown in some of the docs, but hopefully those are still comin'.

God bless, I was so worried they would cut the landscaping way down from the plans...

Did you mean landscaping was complete, or for the day? I wonder if the amount was cut back from the drawings?

I jumped the gun and didn't read the whole thread, glad it sounds like it's all happening!

I just meant for the day. They're probably just about done with all the landscaping in the ride's safety perimeter which bodes well for testing in the days ahead I'd think. Earlier today they were working within the ride restricted area around the final turnaround I believe.

All the areas that look done look in line with what we saw in the landscaping plans so I don't think there's any cause for concern re: cuts thus far.

Also, re: opening questions, yeah, I'd be surprised if it doesn't have public riders on it by the end of May based on what I'm seeing on the ground. That feels like a good, relatively conservative estimate to me at the moment.
