That's a sharp idea if you incorporate on ride audio and the technology isn't there for it to function perfectly the vast majority of the time, it's probably prudent to avoid making it such a big part of the ride with detail like Big Bear Mountain. I can't stress the disappointment I felt on that ride not having the audio when I got back on it last summer. There was NO BEARing left............in audio form.

My understanding is it's just going to be howling wolves. So it wouldn't be much of a loss if it didn't work anyways.
If that’s the case, why wouldn’t they just opt for speakers placed strategically around the ride path instead of on-board speakers? Seems like cheaper hardware and way more reliable. Unless that’s what Kevin meant and he’s using “on-board audio” loosely?

One hopes that B&M has solved the onboard audio problem since Phoenix Rising. Plenty of manufacturers have been delivering coasters with working onboard audio for years now. Presumably a company as storied as B&M can figure it out... right?

Also, worse case scenario, presumably United Parks stands to recover some funds if B&M can't actually manage to deliver a fully operational product, no?

If it is just a select few wolf howls during certain sections of the ride, then it could work with or without them. At least it's not an original score that will be forgotten about if the on-board audio doesn't work and it's turned off. COUGH!phoenixrisingCOUGH!

Just pointing out……this is the 2nd family coaster in the park to be themed to attacking a village.

I guess we get epic mythology based beings for the thrilling coasters, storm clouds for the indoor coasters, and the slaughter of an innocent village for family coasters……..and an Italian stuntman

There was a video somewhere that the tiny mural was getting touched up, and the painter said to the person filming that there were other murals on the side of Der Autobahn that faded very badly that they're also restoring. Talk about a really nice effort!
