Literally the third time in a row. Timbers, Tumbili, and Rapterra have all had their names/theme info leaked literally the day before their respective announcements now. The KD curse (read: the endless pattern of marketing incompetence) is real. 💀
I seem to remember I305’s webpage getting leaked as well

At least they're not both orange!

I honestly like the name. It's not generic like "Raptor" would have been, yet is less complex than Tumbili (or god forbid Impundulu).
I’d say now they should just buy the Cheetaka trademark from United Parks and slap that sucker on Project 305 and they’d have a nice collection of coasters with weird names.

Glad you brought that up. I am now under the impression that it will be a rolling launch. Both Thunderbird and Pipeline have a set of drive tires right before the LSM motors begin on the track, and both of those stop for a few seconds before launching. Penguin Trek, however, does not have a set of tires immediately before the LSMs, and is a rolling launch. Caldera is the same, as it's only LSMs after it departs the station.

Now that's not to say that it couldn't stop there without a set of tires, as the LSMs would be entirely capable of controlling the train at that point (especially because that first launch section is its own valley). It's not written-in-stone evidence, but just comparing B&M's existing LSM rides, I think it's a plausible 'tell' that it's a rolling launch. And like you said, it'd be a neat homage to Volcano, especially if the back car is still slightly on the curve when the train starts launching😆
Did we call it or did we call it?😝

It looks great honestly. I love the call to go with the rolling launch. I sure hope the level of theming showcased in the animation comes to life. But the layout looks super fun. Only 3 inversions is interesting but honestly I think it works. The layout looks pretty fast paced and provides a variety of forces. This is going to be the most popular ride in the park and it won’t be remotely close. So exciting!

While I am a huge fan of the darker green and gray color scheme, I can’t help but admit I’m still a little puzzled by the placement and choice of a green coaster next to another green coaster. I know they’re two different shades of green and noticeably different, but the choice still makes me scratch my head a bit. I wonder if they’re also planning on repainting Tumbili along with 305 for the anniversary. I doubt it, but just a thought.
Maybe Tumbili is going to be eventually relocated to a smaller park. It has a horrible capacity and it seemed like it was just a placeholder until they could get a real coaster in the park.

Doubt It GIF

I was thinking about the terra part of the name, as it seemed weird since there’s no apparent ground theming to this coaster but I was looking up terra for possible other definitions and came across the lunar terrae (singular terra) which are more reflective areas on the moon’s highlands. I wonder if this could be related to the moon cycles that are on Flat Rock (the big thing with the animals, moons, maze, and X in the middle of the path)? (Probably reading wayy too far into this)

I really don’t think this is final theming because there’s things like the trees covering reptilian’s exit and getting all up in it’s business too IMG_5817.jpeg
Plus Mount Kilimanjaro is just missing?? IMG_5820.jpeg
It should be directly behind Anaconda’s station. It is kinda suspicious now that I'm thinking a bit more that specifically the two remaining mountain bits, Reptilian exit cave and Mount Kilimanjaro, are the only parts absent when I can see like Dominator and Drop Tower in the distance. Only time will tell I guess. (Sorry I’ll stop reading too far into this now I promise)

I'm expecting more nit noid theming that's not worth animating for a POV. I'm not expecting a near miss though. That would be a selling point and likely included in the announcement. We'll see, that's something they could easily add if need be. Personally I'd only want a near miss if it could be integrated well into the surrounding theming.

145 feet seems pretty great considering what the top hat was looking like compared to Tumbili . Also, it reaches 65 mph, I thought Thunderbird only reached 60? Is there any other launched wing coaster besides these two?
