Great point. For example, there’s a lot of theming not featured in Tumbili’s announcement video from 2021 that was added to the final ride.

Both the Tumbili video and the Rapterra POV don’t show the Tumbili arch (formerly the Volcano arch). Assuming that survives, it should provide a sort of near miss experience when Rapterra swoops out by the Tumbili entrance.

The logo looks a lot like Tumbili's logo. I get why they're trying to use similar logos to tie the land together but I feel like it would confuse people even more.

My gut says no, but it would be a huge missed opportunity to not announce it along with the 2025 Season Pass launch.

After thinking more about this and what came before rapterra, my thoughts are this. I get volcano had to go because it literally couldn’t run safely anymore. However for this to be the replacement with literally only the little theming structures over the launch feels so sad

I really hope there’s more coming but god that’s so sad comparatively to volcanos grand mountain. And obviously nothing can live up to volcanos unique theme and theming but I feel like they could’ve done more. (

I would say that isn’t all the theming it’ll have. That’s just all we could see. The video does show a quick glimpse of the queue theming. My guess would be that that’s the “caldera” in the middle.

Volcano was a terrible investment. Unreliable ride, structural nightmare, and contributed heavily to KD's financial struggles (along with other Paramount era practices). Guests love rides like Volcano, but over the top theming and presentation at a regional park is honestly just not financially responsible.

I'll happily take coasters with TT/Tumbili level theming that DON'T hurt the long term prospects of the park. Not to mention we might see more theming with the final product. It's really annoying how often we jump the gun with these complaints. KD has earned my trust with Jungle X.

Y'know, at 360p you almost cannot tell it's an animation vs a real pov apart from the generic people walking around and the skybox that'd be the top .5% of skys is Doswell (and plenty of other indicators, this is just a dumb joke, thank you for sharing the video)
