As far as why track might not be installed yet or even delivered yet I would assume is most likely crane related, they are expensive to have on site and to operate, they may be waiting to begin setting track to where they can begin and install as fast as possible for cost savings.

I mean, it only takes a couple forklifts to get the track pieces and supports off the trailer into a staging yard.

I mean kinda, I don’t know the exact weight of a track segment but it most likely will require a lull or a wheel loader, and that’s not something I would imagine the park has, then you have the argument of who should unload vs who will unload, the steel erectors should be the ones handling it, do they want to stage a crew on site to just unload steel? I can go on and on. My take on it is if I was project managing this, I would most likely tell them to store everything I could at the fabricators as long as they would let me until they forced me to take it and that way I could have the crew in charge of unloading and staging on site for the shortest time possible while getting the most amount of possible work done. At the end of the day to them it’s not a rollercoast it’s another project and they have to save every dollar.

I could also be that both sides want all shipments to happen relatively close together for ease of signing off that everything properly arrived. That wouldn’t be all that uncommon.

I just want to point out as I did over in the bgw thread, there is still 7 months left just until the next calendar year, 12 months if they have a May opening day. They are already making progress on site and foundation work. Everything is still fine, it’s okay the track isn’t here yet, all of the foundations haven't been finished yet by the looks of it, so it’s not like it’s currently a bottle neck to be concerned with.

Only expecting something to show up because they got the parking lot fence up so quickly. Who knows, maybe it will be July before we see any.
Perhaps that's just when their fencing contractor had a slot in their schedule - do it way early or do it too close and may be late?

There's a construction site near where I work that had fencing and scrims up for maybe 1-2 months before any activity was to be seen (I'm able to look down from my office tower, there wasn't anyone on site or any moving equipment for much of that period), so I agree this isn't much to write home about yet.

I am genuinely curious about the story behind that potato
Same! It was in the woods right across from Arachnidia. It wasn’t even cooked so thought maybe they tossed it back there from Excavator Taters but I didn’t think they used whole potatoes there (just frozen fries?)

I don’t know if this has changed, but I know that Excavators Taters used fresh, hand-cut potatoes at least for its opening year in 2022.

Red, blue, and yellow markings on the ground in front of Excavators Tators and extending towards the main jungle X area near the dip n' dots stand. Didn't get photos bc I was with a group, but if I get back around there I'll get photos. Anyone know if they are related to this project? There were several around a manhole cover, so may just be related to it.

It is very safe to assume that any utility markings around Jungle X right now are a result of the coaster construction and/or related projects.
That’s exactly what it is. I actually saw the guy spraying them either this past Friday or the one before.
