I would love a new mountain as much as anyone else- but unless that rock next to the Reptilian range is the mini-mountain that's currently next to it I feel like we're getting set up for a Scott's Tot's where they're either A) gonna be like yeah that big one is Kilimanjaro (i think that's the name?) or B) we get something more the size of Grizzly Peak (mind that I don't know how tall that one is but compared to Everest).

Crazy idea, but I wonder if we could see the FOF show building painted or dressed up with some sort of facade to simulate a distant mountain. It would line up almost perfectly with the positioning of the mountains in both in-universe illustrations that @MysticClay posted.

Another thought that I’ve seen someone else suggest before, the “far off mountain range” looks suspiciously similar to the outline 305’s lift and second hill, and 305 does mostly stand on “grassy plains” like the ones shown in front of the mountain. Maybe the mountain is a reference to 305?

I love this idea. I know my idea of FoF keeping the alien theme wasn’t well received but it could be a cool tie in that the mystery is in the mountains and the facade is painted like that.

The only thing I could see happening is a 2D distant mountain facade on the FoF building. But I'm not familiar enough with the area to even know if that would be visible.

I don't think it's wrong to get your hopes up, just don't be mad at the park when it ends up being less than the lofty expectations you set for it. Thoosies have a hard time doing that

EDIT: Now seeing that I'm not the first person with this idea lol.

Would someone mind doing me a massive favor and kind of throw up an image of where this theoretical 2D distant mountain facade would be? Because I'm currently having a hard time visualizing it.

Thanks for the video update! Exciting to see construction making its way back to the Flight of Fear area! Crazy to think that the exit of the corkscrew and turn are going to be sitting right next to that path next year!
It’s going to feel strange back there next year. Fun watching it all come together though!

Since this coaster has a ton of path crossovers, I'm curious if it'll have a bunch of loose article nets too. You could pull it off in with the jungle theming and make it look natural enough.

But if anyone else has been to/seen pictures of FLY at Phantasialand, that coaster has a TON of path interaction and crossovers with no loose article nets. It gets around them by having mandatory free lockers with wristbands, and a metal detector to make sure no loose articles at all are brought on. It works with the theming too, since you're at the "Rookburgh Flyport". If KD wanted to have similar path interaction with no nets, they could have a preshow or safety spiel that says something like "it's too dangerous to take our bags in the temple, we'll have to leave them here" with a similar locker system to FLY.

Idk how feasible this is, since US and EU theme park laws are different. Anyone who can read the blueprints better than me have any idea if this is possible?

Or they could go the Cedar Point route and make you rent a locker.

Yeah I would assume they just do what they did for TT here as well with the phone lockers in the line, and I'm definitely betting they put regular lockers in the old volcano que house. Also I'm thinking they might start teasing after all the construction in the midway is done.

The burnt orange grew on me, the final corkscrew would’ve looked great behind the waterfall mountain, would’ve looked like lava swirling around. But the green track that was posted earlier works too, just has a different feel.
