I remember Robb Alvey threatened to ban from ThemeParkReview’s forums because I said Volcano gave me a ride with some head banging, so there’s that lol. People were very defensive of it when it was around.
Thanks. Yeah, I was ignoring the Impulses as to me those are closer to a flat ride. But maybe that's unfair. Maybe some day I will get to ride some of those ones in other countriesThe Intamin impulses are launched inverts, but not full circuit. In modern times you have these:
Dueling Dragons - Guangzhou Sunac Land (Huadu, Guangzhou, Guangdong, China)

I'm of the haunted river/Smurf Mountain/TimeShaft generation. I liked volcano better than all three, FWIW, but i wish they had a ride like Haunted River again. A well-rounded park needs dark boat rides like that.I’m guessing most of you are too young to remember the Lost World attractions and what it was like before Volcano.
Yeah, by the time my amusement park memories began, Volcano was already around.I’m guessing most of you are too young to remember the Lost World attractions and what it was like before Volcano.
Makes me even sadder that I didn't have time for Monster Mansion when I went to Six Flags Over Georgia. Curse the Amtrak delays that day.I'm of the haunted river/Smurf Mountain/TimeShaft generation. If that’s not it, what could it be for other than KD? Definitely keen to know of any upcoming B&Ms other than this and FHP (no, of course Phoenix Rising and Penguin Trek don’t count!).Only 'new' track spotted recently was this greenish-teal track. I don't think that's it, but it could be; just won't know until shipments come in.
I guarantee no regular park goers will care if there's a shuffle or rattle. Thoosies notice it more on B&Ms because we're weirdos who know manufacturers and expect smoother, but no normal person will have the correct frame of reference to care unless it's egregious. I doubt any new B&M would be bad enough for the average person to noticeI swear to GAWD, if this thing has one silly miscalculated jolt or rattle on a new B&M like Iron Menace...lol
This one has got to be smooth and enjoyable, as it will be many people's first exposure to a wing coaster who are regulars to these parks in the state of VA.
