Yeah, it really shouldn't be any sort of magical or mystical creature at all. Per the lore of Jungle X, it should be a normal, real, known animal.

My guess would be some sort of similar concept to "Tumbili" so it could be "bird" "hawk" "eagle" "raptor" or something else similar in the same language as Tumbili since that means "monkey."
Theme it to a Griffon! That's a bird, and a super original concept that no other park in Virginia has ever had a ride themed to.
Why not theme it to a plane? It would be in theme with the area. The station and launch theming could even be an overgrown airfield!
I'm a firm believer in the idea that Jungle X can and should have non-temple-themed attractions in addition to the six canonical temple attractions. That said, for the first major, headlining, addition to the land, I would be very surprised if they didn't use a temple theme. Especially given that it has a darkride section, Project 2025 will give Kings Dominion the best opportunity yet to fully explain to guests what the temples of Jungle X actually are.
Funny, I was thinking the same thing. Those leaked station renderings reminded me of a hanger in a way. Also with the Research Center on Volcano's former queue/gift shop, I could see it tie into that.
Speaking of the former Volcano building, it looks likely they will reuse the old gift shop but I wonder what they will do with the former queue above it. Looks like the new one in the plans look long enough they won't need to reuse Volcano's old queue but I could be wrong and they might reuse it for the park's busiest days.
With the layout having riders “touring” the guest pathway, a prop plane theme of exploring the jungle makes sense.
The pre-launch scene could really set that up, and if they decided to go all out on it, they could include on-ride audio and appropriate theming.
If I was sitting on the wing of an airplane, I would make damn sure to get back inside.
I wouldn't give Spirit any ideas.
Cedar Fair is no stranger to hawks. Nighthawk at Carowinds, Firehawk (RIP) at Kings Island, two unrelated Thunderhawks at Dorney Park and Michigan's Adventure...

Falcon= Kozi
Eagle=tai
fire=moto (so firehawk, for example would be moto mwewe)
fast=haraka (Haraka Kozi)
soar= Kupa (Kupa tai)
I'm sure there are other swahili words some of you could come up with that we could play around with for some fun guesses.

FWIW this is the exact same video from 2020. As hype as a teaser would be I really hope this is as innocent as the post implies because reusing a teaser from a different ride would be really lazy and set a bad precedent for the project.
Why would they tease Crypt for a Volcano replacement?
There's no way that is a teaser for the wing coaster (or is even related in any way to it). I think that all it is is just a OTD post for the Crypt removal (they do similar posts often). The video is just a reupload of the teaser they originally made when the Crypt was first removed.
I don't think they'd repost the closure announcement with that ending intact if it wasn't also meant as a teaser for what's to come.
Seems a little early to be teasing for a future 2025 attraction; especially for CF/KD in general. Maybe a minor 2024 tweak for the Jungle X area?

I mean they’ve theoretically been teasing this addition since Jungle X opened with all the mysterious additional animal symbols.
@Zachary I noticed unlike the BGW leaks you b aven’t given this project a nickname. Let’s not forget your chosen nickname for DarKoaster ended up being right on the head! I guess we could just call it a Swahili word for some sort of bird just to see if we happen to guess what it is for fun.
