Wing coasters are viewed to me the same as a dive. Im hanging off the track on both. Only difference is theres no shitty vest restraint (atleast for griffons sake) and the track is eye level with you. Other than that I don't see the apeal of a wing
I see your point, but on a dive coaster you also aren’t guaranteed to be outside of the track. Depending on park operations, you can just as easily end up in the middle of a row, then it becomes more of a floorless coaster.Wing coasters are viewed to me the same as a dive. Front right has the opposite, feels like track is going to hit your feet. No matter how much I know it won’t, the visual trips me out.I got 3 more rides today. I will say if you ride the front left the visual on the launch into the wing over is NUTS. You just see the track pull hard to the right and up in front of you and your brain does not pick it up properly and on the outside seat especially it throws me off and I’m giggling as I’m zipping over the turn. I know a lot of people were skeptical of that first element but honestly that shit slaps.
Yes but I’m an accountant and I want KD to have “3 90+s” for “……. Reasons!”My KD top 5 (I've ridden Rapterra 11 times so far):
Call me crazy, but I try to not give in to thoosie groupthink!
- The artist formerly known as I-305
- Rapterra
- Grizzly
- Dominator
- Twisted Timbers
TT near the bottom of mine also lolMy KD top 5 (I've ridden Rapterra 11 times so far):

This is Apple Zapple erasure!1. I305
2. Twisted Timbers (very close 2nd place for me; on a good day I might like it more than I305)
3. Grizzly
4. Racer 75
5. Dominator
6. Flight of Fear
7. Backlot
8. Reptilian
9. Rapterra
10. Tumbili
This is my honest opinion for right now. It could change as I continue to visit the the park over the coming months.
Oops, I knew I was forgetting something. I'd throw that one at 10 and move Tumbili to 11.This is Apple Zapple erasure!
Some people prefer not to be punched in the stomach by the lap bar repeatedly like Twisted Timbers and some other RMCs do. Great coasters don't have to hurt, despite what the thoosie vloggers may believe. But I agree it’s why I have X2 at #6 but also overwhelmingly disagree with the idea a Floorless is superior to an RMC.
