The launch is great, not a gut punch but it’s got some power to it. The launch + first element is the highlight, that is a seriously cool element, especially in the front.

I rode a couple times, inner and outer seats, back and front and they were all pretty similar. The most notable shuffle is during the flyover turn over the pathway, that’s the only part I’d say flirts with uncomfortable. Very comparable to Iron Menace. But it is far from the worst B&M. It’s a very fun ride.
Interesting you mention the flyover turn, because that general type of banked, non-inverted maneuver is also where Iron Menace has its issues, even though one is mid-ride and the other at the very end.

How do you even repair ripples or wavyness in track pieces. Like what is there to fix without replacing whole pieces. Makes no sense to be doing this now when the ride had been testing for months and ridden a ton by the crew. Im not calling bs on them fixing anything but im calling bs

Ryan the Ride Mechanic has a great TT2 update video with an explanation of how they do it:

Neat video but theyre not repairing any of the rail the train actually rides on. Thats also intamin track vs B&M. If the rails the train ride on are warpy and not straight then i feel like that is a different beast. Is it the entire ride bouncy and bad? If so then what? They arn't going to do that process to the entire ride lol.

Metallurgy is metallurgy. If you heat those ties in the right spot, its going to push the rail into a different position. Also, that launch track(the rails specifically) have some spots in them that could benefit from straightening.

But hey, what do I know, i'm just replying to your smart ass response to my legitimate answer to what i thought was a good question.

Not really being a smartass. Just asking legitimate questions in my eyes. Because B&M is typically rattly the whole ride nowadays lol

There seems to be a narrative developing parks have been asking B&M to make their rides cheaper. I can’t remember where I heard this. Makes me sad if true and the days of the new truly glass smooth B&M are behind us.

You'd really think Kings Dominion would have learned their lesson by now about cheaping out on their rides.
I thought @CoasterAuditor was just presenting a theory that's been circulating online, not stating that it's true that KD "cheaped out." Considering this rattle has been reported on rides built at Six Flags (pre-merger), United Parks, and legacy CF parks, I think the idea that all those parks suddenly decided to cheap out is bogus. Seems more likely that B&M has tried to cut costs or has lost the thread on some quality process on their side of things.

It'll be really interesting to see if BBW is plagued by the same issue.

Definitely more this. It's no fault of the park for buying what B&M is selling, when what they're selling is still by every metric a fully functional, reliable, crowd pleasing, people-eating, marquee coaster that just happens to 'shuffle' more than they did 10 years ago. Absolutely not to discount the valid complaints of the noticeable decline in quality, but in the grand scheme of things, it's unfortunately such a small issue/non-issue that this is probably just how it is now.

That said, I am glad to hear from the reviews here that there don't appear to be any large jolts like that last curve of Iron Menace. Wing Coasters naturally do have a little bounce to them by default, so anyone expecting a Twisted-Timbers-level smoothness was never practical. Hopefully I don't eat those words, but I am still so stoked to finally try it out at passholder night!

If it’s anything like iron menace then I’ll be happy because I rode that one last year on outer and inner seats and the rattle I felt was never significant enough to the point I would even think twice about it without everyone freaking out about B&M rattle. It’s hard to pass judgement until I can ride it myself of course, but I think that while it may get some thoosies’ panties in a twist it won’t affect the success of the coaster.

Honestly I don’t get why B&M gets people so worked up for a slight rattle that they act like they just rode row 12 of anaconda 25 times in a row (the row I so lovingly called the lobotomizer row)

I'm not impressed by that dollar amount. In 2025 money, the Lost World mountain would have been three times as much. Kings Dominion doesn't go above and beyond at providing the attractions people want anymore.

This is a park with a history of disappointing their loyal fans time and time again. Most of my friends and family in the area quit going a long time ago. Rapterra needs to be perfect, and the fact that I'm hearing about people getting injured on it already is concerning.
Injured? Brother it’s a slight rattle nobody’s getting injured.
