Legend has it KD waited so long to get this ready that this has now been dubbed "Cheetah Hunt 2.0: 305 Days Later."
Apparently there were some forklifts over there yesterday? Heard a couple people say that so hopefully a good sign. I saw an employee pressure washing Sunday so I think we really could be getting close.
From Brian Sterowski’s new vlog, looks like the safety sign has been changed from when it said Project 305.
I find it more interesting that they were able to get someone to drive the pressure washer down to Pantherian. While almost any op can get checklisted for pressure washing, typically only Area Managers and up can be checklisted to drive in the park. They also don’t like needlessly burning seasonal employees max hours during the summer season. It all kinda leads me to believe that something could be happening relatively soon.
Not entirely - I was certified to drive in the park and I never made it to area sup level. I was specifically given my driver's cert so that I could drive the machine around. Not disagreeing that there isn't something going on though. The park seems to be checking off as many reopening requirements as they can. That way once the part of installed they only have to worry about testing and training.
School is back in session in 30 days for some school systems.

Flight was closed today so I couldn’t get closer but I got a little bit of the research center gift shop over the anaconda fence and it’s looking good, the door is open and it looks like there’s some paintings inside in the same style of the ones in reptilian’s station.
Apologies if another thread that would be more appropriate for this, since it's not directly related to the Pantherian retheme. We're definitely getting a copy of the project mentioned in this video on ParkFans, right?

I’m pretty sure they’re the same posters of Reptilian, Arachnidia, and Tumbili that are outside the Jungle X restrooms.
Yeah they looked to be the same three tumbili reptilian and arachnidia posters from the bathroom
Also I saw this truck sitting in the staging area/ bus parking when I was leaving earlier. Im inclined to believe it’s more theming elements from the concrete people who make the panther statues and rapterra arches and such since I saw this exact truck just before all the panther statues showed up earlier in the year, though I must say it could’ve just been a coincidence. Even if it is it may not even be for pantherian, we’re so far in the season this may be for next year’s upgrades

Little update, looks like they’ve done some paint work, the letters on the sign are much more orange and vibrant and the tunnel seems just slightly more detailed/vibrant. Spool is still off to the side though :/
Honestly I think I preferred it faded. Anyone else? It just felt more natural to me.
I wonder why they are waiting on to put the spool in. Think theyre waiting on another part? Do they need a permit for something?

Legitimately probably needed to wait for the ground to dry out some, today was the first time in a week or so I didn’t see standing water over there. Ain’t gonna go well if you take your crane weighing multiple tons out into the mud
The cable isn't all that needs replacing. They may still be waiting on or working on the installation of other parts.
