Or they said you gotta do something if you want to stay on the clock...
Is that how that works? I don't think thats how that works. You can severly ruin something depending what your pressure washing. They arn't gonna have a random employee do something like that. Does that mean they have employees go paint stuff? I could be totally wrong though

From around the time Pantherian debuted as I-305, I recall having a conversation with a ride op who mentioned they had an early pressure washing shift for some other ride's queue.

So odd as it may seem, sounds like it's been a policy the park has used at some previous point in time that regular part-time employees may do work not directly in their original job descriptions to pick up extra hours.

Generally, each department is responsible for their piece of the park. Food and Bev is responsible for restaurant patios, park services will do trash cans, rides is responsible for ride locations, & Aquatics will do the pools. That said, food and bev may contract this work out. While rides, park services & aquatics (operations department) will do this in house. While staff aren't professional pressure washers, they're given training on the equipment and is signed off on. "Other duties as assigned"

I saw that in the gift shop and was thinking about buying it, but then saw the track was red and put it back lol.
Id still get it because the rides itself is still top. I also dont support the sheer lack of laziness or stupidness of a company to mess that up too
