The trees in the first turnaround are coniferous trees, the first trees to grow in an area after it has been clear-cut. These have been growing since the area was cleared out in late 2009, so you're looking at well over a decade of unhindered growth. The deciduous trees on the right side of that picture were never touched.
Plaza looks spectacular. They added wooden fencing and lightposts
Looks good. Did any of the queue directions change? I assume no, but one could wonder, considering how confusing it currently is to navigate.
Telling things from your pics:
Metal raceway fencing around brake run still there. I wasn’t expecting this to change, but it does seem out of place with all the great wooden fences. Perhaps it can act more like a cage for the Panther? I understand the ride itself is actually a machine resembling panthers, not the actual animal though.
Wooden fences surrounding Lake Charles and pavers remained unchanged. I didn’t expect either of these to change either, and perhaps if they ever have a plan to spruce up the lake they may open this up. It would certainly be nice to see the lake (if it’s trimmed) from the plaza, but who knows if it will even continue to be a lake at this point.

Wow, looks great. Love what they've done with the lights, queue and gift shop. But man, not seeing Anaconda right next to it is gonna be weird for while.

I like the wood work but feel there are several things that still need to be done. Most notably the checker flag pavers are still there. I also would like to see a more complete retheme on the old gift shop. No trains were on site today but there are wear marks on the rails so they have been run since the repaint.

I'm really wondering if we'll start seeing long lines on any given day, (hopefully not), and if the retheme will actually make the GP want to ride.
We got two items of it last year with a temporary name so I am sure we will see more with a permanent one.
This looks awesome! Nice to see it all come together. Big props to the park for pulling this off. Could have very easily had the Thunder Striker treatment, but I'm glad it got this attention.
Side note- Those plaza railings... are those leftover from Congo/Volcano?!

Not a new building, but the brownish shade structure over the queue does look like a new design from the previous one. It's just missing the shade canopy now.
Why does the entry arch look like a brown cake with white candles to me? I’m not liking that at all.
