What a beast of a project this coaster will be to paint. Not only because of the height, but the track spine is pretty intricate to paint, especially with a new color where you'll have to hit every inch.
I am about 90% sure Baynum did the last repaint about 5 or 6 years ago. They probably have Baynum doing the repaint for 305. They did both Eiffel Towers at KI and KD and they repainted Top Thrill 2 so the height won't be an issue for them.
That’s the one thing that has me worried. IMO a sci-fi mini land would be much better than having to completely change the theme of 2 major attractions. CF could even make it like area 72 or whatever it’s called at Kings Island. This seems like a really cool idea especially with the train design, but what about the animal print on the entrance sign?

Hear me out:Coming back to this (since I replied about the sign pertaining to the color) I rode 305 the other day and something I noticed that no one has mentioned is that the backside of that very same support in the picture has been painted black! I honestly really hope that's the final support color because I feel like whatever goes with it could really pop especially if it ends up being panther themed.
The new coaster is huge news a retheme not do much. I would be very surprised to see them announce both at the same time. I would expect to see 305 announced during the off season. The possible wild card would be IF a general Jungle X expansion is happening that included Flight of Fearvand Backlot as well then I could see it as one big announcement but I think the odds of seeing that especially with spending geared to the 50th are VERY low.Do we think the details of Project 305 will be announced next week with the new coaster or later this offseason (like Ricochet's transformation to Apple Zapple in 2018 with the Twisted Timbers addition)? There is a chance that painting could begin before Haunt is over this Fall.
