This pov should help clear things up- but watch the track. You’ll see the fins.
Tumbili POV

And this freespin is in Japan- but this video focuses a lot on the flipping mechanism. You can see the flipping getting activated with the fins. This one is called Arashi, over at Nagashima Spa Land.

Arashi Nagashima Spa Land
Of those two, I think Tumbili definitely looks like the better choice for me. Arashi looks absolutely nauseating. But if you can tolerate it, well then the choice is obvious.

Got a bonkers ride on Tumbili today. Last week I rode only in the rows that face forward at the top of the lift, today I rode in the backwards row on the temple side and we got 3 flips and wound up side down for like 3 seconds it was great honestly. They finished the main queue over the week, there’s still no large Tumbili sign of any kind unfortunately. I felt like Tumbili cleared a full queue in around 25-35 minutes. Wonder what really busy Saturdays in the summer will look like.

Wow, when I rode in the middle of the day it was only a 10 minute wait (with 1 train)
To be fair, my buddy who went with me only had a single day ticket and had never been on I305 and we were stressing the 5pm close. Unfortunately I305 was down when we got to it so he missed out and despite how amazing Twisted Timbers was to him still couldn't sell him on the $99 pass. It's mindblowing to me how it's that cheap but is still a tough sale to a lot of people even if they like roller coasters. I just don't get "I will pay $45-70 for a ticket, $25 for parking for one single day.............what's that? If I pay $55-$30 more I get UNLIMITED visits rather than a single visit? Well idk if I would go often enough"

Anyway yeah the plane was in Jungle X it looked really cool.

Well it’s certainly a better deal than BGW…

Another comment on Tumbili on the upside down sequence, we actually entered the first raven drop like that and didn’t finally correct until we released from the brake into the second level so I was basically completely upside down and when we released from the brake I was suddenly weightless while upside down unexpectedly which felt awesome honestly.

Never felt that on any ride where I was being held up side down and then suddenly free falling it was awesome and definitely made me appreciate Tumbili more. I definitely prefer flipping backwards on the top level.

No. And they're not giving them today so far.

I was here 3 of the 4 days this coaster has been "open"—including the first two—and I am not getting a first rider button. Ah, Kings Dominion, never change.
I saw posted that they ran out yesterday

They didn't get them in in time for the first weekend. I was told that there were a limited amount at guest relations, but I don't know if those are gone.
Personally, after dealing with wind delays several times over the past few weekends 70 miles to the southeast, I would rather have a new coaster that is running consistently instead of a free pin.
