That test seat is useless…..because it gives the “good to go” light way off from the actual
ride vehicles.
ride vehicles.
What's actually useless is the seat sensors on the train that verify at wildly different levels from one cycle to the next. Intamin needs to get back out to the park and fix that shit ASAP.
At this point, it should be an intamin problem unless maintenance has been messing with them too much.Is it Intamin or park maintenance that's the cause?
I'll say it again and again, take the complaint to a Park Ops supervisor or GR. That's really the only way to get changes done, especially when it is a specific team member(s).

From my understanding, the timer countdown is actually how long until they can safely dispatch the next train. I’ve asked and that was what I was told.I can't speak for others, but for me personally, the waiting doesn't bother me so much. I just thought that was odd that the countdown starts before the train even gets back 100%. Now if I were coming from the other side of the country or something, I might mind more, but since I'm local, it's no big deal for me personally if I don't get to ride [insert ride here] on [insert day here].
That being said, I agree that they should bring up it GR. They used to do surveys when you were leaving the park at random before COVID. Are they still doing those? That might be a good opportunity as well, if so.
Yeah I've definitely noticed this too and have personally experienced it a few times. I agree they really need to get this resolved especially for what is supposed to be their headline attraction.
Ah, interesting. That makes sense. For some reason I always thought the signs were like a service measurement like they do in fast food for example. A way to track how many trains they dispatch on time versus not on a time or what not. From my understanding, the timer countdown is actually how long until they can safely dispatch the next train. I have noticed though, that with Pantheon, it’s the only setup where it’s like that. All the others are just timers that the train should be dispatched at, but can be dispatched prior to hitting 0.Ah, interesting. That makes sense. Wasn't it you that said that BGW rebuilt the trains over the winter to resolve some sort of issue? It may have been someone else. Either way, if they rebuilt the trains then that most likely doesn't fall to Intamin. At this point, it should be an intamin problem unless maintenance has been messing with them too much.
Nah, Pantheon's trains are too big and heavy to be easily moved - especially if they're being held in place with drive tires. When Backlot at KD aborts at the end of the launch it takes at least 2 maintenance guys to push it back into the station and they're struggling even then. The sensor contact issue seems to just be a wire harness issue all around. Maintenance has to clean I305's contacts all the time and I've heard of it being done on Copperhead Strike as well.I wonder if that could move the train a bit and affect the sensor contacts between the train and track.
Nevermind that the contacts aren't usually just one sensor, but rather a remote block using tech like ASI or IO-Link to put multiple sensors on only 2 or 3 wires.Nah, Pantheon's trains are too big and heavy to be easily moved - especially if they're being held in place with drive tires. instagram sortaDoes anyone know what if any scoical media platforms Intamin uses? Asking for a reason.
But nothing that might get their attention?instagram sorta
Sadly no.But nothing that might get their attention?
Given the way the young person that did mine, I think it’s someone young that thinks it’s funny. I think this is the unfortunate side effect of the current work environment. Got it at SFA too. The local Giant and fast food restaurants have been terrible with slow service.I really don't understand why some employees at Pantheon seem determined to try and get the sensor to show red.
