First riders are all Health care workers and first responders I don't recall seeing that announced anywhere but very appropriate given the last few years.

No idea but given it's recent operating history likely restraint issues. The plan looked like two train ops as they had two trains worth of first riders lined up in the station.
Not open but the trains are back in the station and the new pain on the rails has wear marks so it's been tested at least some so hopefully all is on sedchule for it to open next week
They did announce it on Twitter
My impression was that the stairs are meant to be the QQ entrance. I didn’t think they were intended to be used as an exit.

But there is nothing keeping people from walking down and its way shorter than the ramp. Unless they install some kind of gate it will be used by people exiting the station regularly.
Especially kids trying to run back in line to ride a second time will be tempted to run down the stairs.
Luckily my kids were too stupid to notice the stairs and were running down the ramp instead.
(And I do apologize for them. I tell them every time not to run, but it takes them a moment to remember.)
Oh, I totally agree. I keep hoping they just haven’t gotten around to installing the gate/chain/whatever.
I have to say my favorite moment of yesterday was when Suzy said it had 4 launches and I definitely heard several people in the crowd go SEVEN.
