How is this wrong?

1 out of the station before the switch track, 1 towards the tophat before it rolls back, 1 sending it up the spike, and 1 towards the tophat sending it over.

1 out of the station
2 towards the switch
3 out of the stich to the stall
4 back over the bunny hill
5 up the spike
6 down from the spike entering the switch
7 up the top hat.

Maybe I'm mistaken, but are you referring to the actual stator runs and when they're used or something else?

There are two sets of launches around the switch it hits one set 2 and the other set 3 that's 5 launches just in the swing

BGW claims that Pantheon has four launches but, truthfully, it is almost certainly more right to say seven. There's well over 125 feet of track separating the two launch sections in the swing launch area and, with the airtime hill, there's a whole coaster element separating them. It looks like two launches, it feels like two launches, and from what I understand, from a technical standpoint it really is two launches—so I'm pretty comfortable declaring that Pantheon as having seven launches.

"Officially", its 4 launches, the swing launch counting for 3 of those. But in reality, there's a sizeable gap between the LSM stators on the "launch hill", sizeable enough that I'll argue that it's really 7 distinct sections of acceleration.

If the first LSM boost on Hagrid's is enough to be considered a launch, the first LSM boost of Pantheon's swing section should be too.

It's 7. Ride in the front row and tell me otherwise, as you can clearly see the gap.

I stand corrected

Still not sure what to think / make of this ride...

1.) I had "only" moderate expectations overall for this ride for the last few years.
2.) After reading some reviews over the past week, my expectations rose a bit.
3.) I rode today around 5:30pm. Back row, left seat.
4.) It was good, it was fun, and I do think it is a great addition to the park.
5.) It just wasn't great for me. I needed a little more. As a coaster enthusiast, I was just wanting a little more.
6.) The pro's - Good pacing (from the start), first inversion is fun, reverse launch, spike
7.) The con's - Theming / queue, little "banks" heading to the switch track, first launch up top hat, stall inversion (so-so), top hat (so-so), outward banked turn
8.) I guess part of me is searching for more thrill, and I can only hope that comes with wearing in / temperatures.
9.) I also want to ride this thing a few more times, various spots, and at night.

I am thankful for this coaster, but I am not sure it breaks my top 10. I might even prefer a "prime" Apollo's Chariot.

Again, great addition to the park, but I think I wanted just a BIT more... and that might come in the next few months... maybe?

Personally, the top hat and stall were some of my favorite moments on the ride. I also think the off axis hills gave good laterals and the outerbank provides good sustained sideways air. At first I thought the ride was good not great, but the more you ride it the more it grows on you. Summer nights back row left seat will be when it’s best.

Rode with Furyous Baco at night man that was insane. The outer bank gave sustained ejector and the Top Hat drop was even crazier. The 2 backwards launches get me every time because of the two pops. Ops did a good job of stacking every time and staying stacked for a solid 45 seconds. Best ride in VA imo

Having ridden Pantheon three times now in Rows 1 (twilight), 5 (daytime), and 9 (night), I tend to agree with Turbo's assessment. It's a fun ride and definitely has a place in the park, and I will say I found the front row to be a lot of fun.

But the sad thing is that I am way more looking forward to my return trip to Tampa in a few weeks to get more rides in on Iron Gwazi. If you are a coaster enthusiast, IG is hard to top!

I found myself wondering that if Pantheon came out as scheduled, would that affect how we compared it to VelociCoaster - since a lot of people I rode with last weekend were directly comping it to that.

It's hard to compare anything to Iron Gwazi as that thing is a true top 10 world ride. I hope we get something in that caliber sometime after Drachen Spire.

I almost want to say Tampa has a better collection, with the exception of no great non looping coaster. If Macko was built at BGT instead of sea world then they would have had a killer lineup. BGT now needs an invadr style family ride.

I want to say for me Pantheons biggest problem is the length, but then I have to remind myself that recent Disney attractions are really short. Seven Dwarfs, Tron, Everest, the navi river ride. I know the side by side of Pantheon and Velocicoaster show them starting and finishing at nearly the same time, but velocicoaster felt much longer to me actually riding it. Maybe its the weaving in and out of the rock work at the start and not really knowing where you are.

If the next 2 projects come to be the way they are rumored, the park is going to be filled with far too many short rides. Pantheon, invar, darkoaster, drachen spire, tempesto. The operating rides all leave me wanting something longer.

Y’all are sad for getting a new Intamin and still finding reasons to complain. Actually no, THREE new Intamin launches.

^I mean do you like looking at piles of cow poop while in line for a roller coaster? Never did that before Pantheon on the 147 roller coasters I rode before.

I think what sucks for Pantheon is just how easy it is to compare to VelociCoaster and it’s at a park known for theming and presentation and the company honestly made a few “dick move” budget cuts and greedy decisions around Pantheon and it doesn’t sit well with people have been going for years.

It is the best roller coaster in the park though no question there. I have to say getting to the park hitting Pantheon and Apollo back to back is a powerful combo in Festa.
