Awesome! So with nice weather and previews open to everyone, they made the reride decision 4 hours into operations. Thinking that will hold true for the rest of the previews, as I might plan more than a few visits later in the day this weekend and next weekend.RERIDE!!!!!
I might have stuck around for an extra hour or two if I had stopped Kevin and bugged him about this when I saw him in Scotland on my last loop around the park, but alas: have things to do anyway.Kevin just arrived on seen hoping that means rerides might start soon.
My understanding, based on what I’ve read on the website, is that quick queue is *NOT* included with vip tours (and other tours for that matter) until the attraction opens on the 25th. When you look at the St. Paddy’s tour, it says priority access to SELECT attractions. Also they are running tours through the quick queue line that appear to include non members.
One total pass but the park has opened it up to member rerides both last night and this afternoon by simply showing your membership so hopefully that continues but don't expect it till afterv3vat the earliest. So pass members get one ride each day, correct? Or is it one total?
Sorry Amped is at Water Country so you have to wait a few months for that. You guys are making me amped for the 19th!
BoooooooooSorry Amped is at Water Country so you have to wait a few months for that.
With the number of rides that are closed, it doesn't surprise me that Pantheon is one of the SELECT attractions. It's not like they are going to be showing folks Tempesto, Griffon, Alpengeist, or Loch Ness ar the moment. My understanding, based on what I’ve read on the website, is that quick queue is *NOT* included with vip tours (and other tours for that matter) until the attraction opens on the 25th. @DrunkenCronuts, that sounds coincidental. Generally rides get faster as they warm up, it wouldn’t make sense for it to be faster in worse/colder weather, unless they boosted it which I doubt as that would be a huge obvious difference.
Quick question- Are member previews one ride per visit or one ride for the duration of the entire previews event? (Ex. Could I get a ride pass today and go back tomorrow and get a ride pass?) I see sister parks Platinum explicitly states only one ride for the duration of the event, but wanted to be clear for the home park.
What's the over/under on it occurring around 4 pm again? Slightly warmer weather tomorrow probably counterbalances it being a Sunday, so I am thinking around the same number of vouchers will be issued tomorrow. There's actually something else going on with Pantheon right now. The longer the ride runs each day and the more frequent the cycles, the wheels and track warm from friction. Even if temps are dropping, that can be counterbalanced effectively by more consistent cycles.
I'm quoting this one but a bunch of people are asking. If you have any questions about how the previews work, see the BGWFans Facebook post from last night. I covered all of the questions I believe.
Quick summary though, each pass gets a single voucher, period. Rerides occur after the flow of voucher people slows down enough to where BGW arbitrary feels like they want to let rerides happen. There's no notification or indication—it just sorta happens. Like today, I'll try to post to social media tomorrow when rerides begin.
I think the odds are good but if today was any indication Kevin is the only person who makes the call. What's the over/under on it occurring around 4 pm again? Slightly warmer weather tomorrow probably counterbalances it being a Sunday, so I am thinking around the same number of vouchers will be issued tomorrow.
Yep started about 4:15I didn't realize they were letting us get rerides today so....sucks to be me I guess
