I really don't get why they don't have some better consistency and shared benefits
The way they're going they could just charge ~500 for plat at all parks, get more money, and do away with the notion of home park benefits. Or at least create a super plat option.

I will say that in the context of only one platinum day it kinda makes sense, but it should be a whole weekend of plat anyway imo.

Bgt was great the way they handled gwazi previews leading to one train waits all weekdays it was open.

Today's photo update includes a few photos of the new-ish flag and a shot of the hideous new wooden wall added to the station.

how long was ig's line on platinum day. maybe that could give us a solid estimate
Gate opened at 10 am that day, and by time of preview noon start, line stretched back to gate. As for line later in the day, an apples and oranges situation, since for IG, you could ride as often as you wanted and many did just that.

Assuming BGW sticks to one ride per person policy during first two weekends of March, and this is a big "if", there may be no line whatsoever for Pantheon next weekend (3/11-3/13), while this weekend (especially Sunday given forecast) might be best to avoid.

Iron Gwazi was averaging 3 minutes the first day, and that was with two trains. I would be surprised if we see better than that with Pantheon.
Went there Sunday for day 1 of plat previews and Wednesday for the last day of them. Ops definitely improved over those days... they were averaging 120 secs about Wednesday. That being said, I still think Pantheon should beat that. The RMC restraints require a seat belt to be checked, then your lapbar to be checked. Pantheon should be exactly like Velocicoaster, which is an extremely quick load process (granted, I doubt they'll get those 30 sec dispatches like IoA, but I'd love to see them close!).

when you say 120 seconds are you including the ~45 sec transfer sequence?

Nah, 120 on the dispatch board. I really couldn't see them getting much faster honestly they were pretty efficient on Wednesday and station wait / people lapping meant overall quick guests.
Getting a bit off topic now but the time to fiddle with the pouch getting phone and a hat in there was a challenge without holding up dispatch; and that's with someone who knows to do it as fast as possible vs the visitors that have no idea how to handle that and might not even speak English. Ops at this ride WILL be atrocious.

Bins or free lockers please...

Problem is, ops doesnt want anything on the platform so that loading is easier, and the budget guys don't wanna give up paid lockers, so this is what we end up with.

I’m going Saturday to get my ride in, but I’m really curious to see what happens on Friday if they just…run out of people to ride it? Like, how many Platinum members are there, and how many will make the trip, and show up before the work day ends? Will they just let it sit idle if the line dries up? That’s where the “only one ride” situation seems untenable.

There are probably more than you think.

being that its only bgw platinum, i just cant imagine that it would be too crowded. especially with the forecast of very cold weather. i could definitely see them letting us ride more than once
