In other news; BGW cut it _really close_ to get the final certificates of occupancy for Pantheon... All 5 structures this morning (only 1 of which doesn't matter for opening)

Not necessarily it was noticed and pointed out last year that JCC seemed to be holding back posting info publicly related to permits and inspections of Pantheon until the last minute.

Being wise to the ways of James city county I checked the actual docs with signatures. Signed and dated this morning with today's date.

This wasn't one of those posting catch up things.

Just so everyone is following, only two adult coasters—Verbolten and Apollo—are planned to operate for the public this weekend. Given the crowds that I think we can reasonably anticipate, the stage is set for quite a shitshow.

So, just curious. Does anyone know if the bridge between Germany and Italy will be open this weekend? Saw it a couple of weeks ago and I would think there is no way they have finished it.

Given what is likely to occur this weekend, thinking you need to go all caps on "shitshow".

Parkfans publicly called BGW out and it looks like they responded in kind. And because of that, the media has to wait and ride it closer to public opening...
Quite the odd scheduling there. Plenty of reporters, bloggers, vloggers, etc. will instead get what content they need from the member previews. All the other recent SW openings -- Ice Breaker, Iron Gwazi, and Emperor -- all had media previews take place before member previews.

@Zachary I have the ultimate idea for you..

With gambling legal in Virginia... You can make the Parkfans Parkbook®

Prop bets such as:

First Pantheon downtime event on Platinum day:
1) delayed opening
2) first 30 minutes
3) 31-60 minutes

Average dispatch time:
1) 120-130 seconds
Etc

Changes to min/max rider height

Park enforcement of rerides.

Etc

Pantheon's path to this point has been MUCH more fraut than what the other 2020 SEAS coasters have been through. Given the tenuous uptime situation and the uncertain weather conditions this early in the season, I honestly think pushing Pantheon's media day was the right choice. Honestly, even if everything else was going smoothly, I can still see good reasons to push it. Making a bigger push immediately ahead of the coaster's opening puts their timing more in line with when park operations should actually be somewhat spun up, when more people in this region are actually thinking about attending parks, and closer to the eventual announcement of Tumbili's opening from Kings Dominion.

There are a lot of positives here for BGW.
