In an attempt at a comparison to Pantheon, today I rode Velocicoaster twice and Hagrid’s Motorbike once. Both have elements in Pantheon. VC’s initial launch to that almost invert doesn’t play around! It doesn’t look like our 1st launch to invert will be as forceful, but I hope so. The speed VC takes throughout is just about maxed out. So it makes the unexpected turns and direction changes intense and super fun but smooth! Like Pans. outward bunny hills and the ending pass after the headchopper. I hope speed gives them the feels they were made for. The extended invert (whatever they call it) really makes you need your restraints by the end of it. Super cool. VC having the feeling it does launching into its shorter tophat, I can’t can’t to feel our taller, faster, over-vert tophat. Pans. Is gonna kill it!
As for Hagrid’s, the twists and turns at low heights and long ride really make it. It’s extended backwards section was very cool. (Like Tempesto, too) I got a glimpse of what Pans. missed tophat run and backwards section will be like, and I like it!
Long story long, I know I’ll love Pantheon, but I feel like it’ll be broad from element to element where I might prefer the tight, no holds barred, gauntlet of element connections on VC, a little bit more track in that open inner “courtyard” of Pantheon, and, oh yea, theming. We shall see!

Now that we've gotten here:

I encourage all employees to STAY SILENT about having ridden Pantheon publicly until AT LEAST a large handful of other employees have also gotten rides. You do not want to be on a shortlist of possible BGW social media policy violators.

Also, and perhaps more importantly, there is security through obfuscation. Make sure what you post here doesn't look too similar to what you've said or written elsewhere. Make sure there is nothing identifiable about when or how you rode that could narrow your identity down significantly. Do not share photos unless you REALLY know what you're doing. Contact me if you need advice. Seriously consider sending your thoughts to me via private message and asking me to pass them along instead of posting them publicly yourself. That will keep your identity as a Pantheon rider entirely separate from the rest of your identity here.

Leaking this stuff is fun—just please be careful. There is a VERY good chance that BGW will be paying very close attention today—they have during these events in the past.

From a friend of mine that rode it today

"It was phenomenal. It has some insane airtime and I thought I was going to be thrown out of my seat a couple of times. Most of the ride is spent with my butt out of the seat. The section between the spike and the top hat is truly mind-blowing. I was sure I was going to shot out of my seat.

The pacing is great and it's just airtime after airtime. Section before the top hat is really awesome and interesting forces and good airtime. Post top hat it gets going really fast and you get going through all the elements rapidly and it's really fun. Also it's so smooth, no jerk just like driving in a nice car on a well paved road.

I think it's probably in my top 10 coasters I've ever ridden and easily the best coaster at Busch."

I’m literally shaking from the intensity easily top 5 in the world. Definitely more intense than Veloci the launches hit you and it’s very aggressive. Top hat is slow but the drop after more than makes up for it. Outer banked turn produces sustained floater. But the best element is by FAR the Vertical spike. Sitting in the back and taking it full speed gives you a sensation of being in a rocket. I had my doubts about pantheon but man did they deliver ! Got around 19 rides on it

Serious question: did you notice the lack of theming while riding?

Coming back from Disney and Universal that one thing I noticed standing in lines for 45min-1.5 hrs, how epically long and amazingly themed thier queues are. They tell the backstory, immerse you into the world before the ride and take your mind off of knowing that your waiting in line for like 2 hrs. Hell, Na’vi River Cruise even has water fountains/refilling, staff selling concessions, and bathrooms mid-queue. Rise of the Resistance and Smugglers Run, The queue inside Hogwarts…Fuggeddaboutit!!! Amazing!
