In an attempt at a comparison to Pantheon, today I rode Velocicoaster twice and Hagrid’s Motorbike once. Both have elements in Pantheon. VC’s initial launch to that almost invert doesn’t play around! It doesn’t look like our 1st launch to invert will be as forceful, but I hope so. The speed VC takes throughout is just about maxed out. So it makes the unexpected turns and direction changes intense and super fun but smooth! Like Pans. outward bunny hills and the ending pass after the headchopper. I hope speed gives them the feels they were made for. The extended invert (whatever they call it) really makes you need your restraints by the end of it. Super cool. VC having the feeling it does launching into its shorter tophat, I can’t can’t to feel our taller, faster, over-vert tophat. Pans. Is gonna kill it!
As for Hagrid’s, the twists and turns at low heights and long ride really make it. It’s extended backwards section was very cool. (Like Tempesto, too) I got a glimpse of what Pans. missed tophat run and backwards section will be like, and I like it!
Long story long, I know I’ll love Pantheon, but I feel like it’ll be broad from element to element where I might prefer the tight, no holds barred, gauntlet of element connections on VC, a little bit more track in that open inner “courtyard” of Pantheon, and, oh yea, theming. We shall see!
