Could they have done a Pantheon+ option where it’s largely what Pantheon is plus another lap around the infield and actually theming the ride to a decent extent.

I learned my mistake with Invadr, so how about we wait to ride this and see what else Intamin gets built before complaining.
Pantheon hits the top hat and brake section not too far apart from Velocicoaster. I’m sure Pantheon will run faster with a full train but the difference will still be minimal
Perception definitely matters in interpretation as I would have guessed that Pantheon was much shorter. I guess the time Pantheon spends Tempestoing back and forth adds up quite a bit.

48 inches to ride i305? DAMN I coulda ridden that when I was 8 then lol (if they had chosen the 48 in height)
Velocicoaster is more coaster; steadily moving forward.
Add in the immense theming and over/along the water trek, especially among the night lights of Universal and it takes a big dump on Pantheon.

How can one coaster be more coaster than another if we aren't talking about Tempesto?
While I really wish Pantheon had more themeing I also never really understand the need to compare a ride at what is extensively a big regional park to that of a major international vacation resort park. The production quality is always going to be vastly different.
While this is absolutely true, we’ve seen how Busch has been cutting costs everywhere for basically no gain, so we know there is the money for any theming at all and Busch just sucks.
They’ve added major attractions 4 out of 5 years leading up to the pandemic.
A very small percentage of coasters match up to Velocicoaster’s theming. Plus, the station is technically not complete yet.
Well they’re running out of time to do it. When does this thing open again?

They really must want people in the park this weekend... a free quick queue to use next summer... for every day you visit between now and sunday... are they trying to overrun the park???
I had thought about going this weekend given the forecast, but may hold off because of the new promotion. The forecast by itself likely results in the park being overrun this weekend, so I can only imagine the nightmare park ops are going to be over the next few days.
