very on point and seasonally appropriate.Appropriately spooky content for the 666th page.

I was curious about this too. The whole, "must be opted in for email" thing is odd. Especially since I receive emails for all 11 parks, but never any of the important ones like confirmations for orders, etc.Has anyone gotten their "passport to thrills" invitation yet? I've visited way more than three times since that was announced and I still haven't gotten the special email invitation.
Check your junk folder. I get A LOT of things from the parks in there.I was curious about this too. The whole, "must be opted in for email" thing is odd. Especially since I receive emails for all 11 parks, but never any of the important ones like confirmations for orders, etc.

Hmm.Meh. If people are just counting down to the 666th page, that will still be above average content for this thread.
Ha! You think they're limited? Limited to how many people they can give them out to in hopes that 10-20% of them shell out $5 for a little 50 cent plastic protector for your pass you clip to it!The post mentioned they had limited quantities. Why wouldn’t they simply order enough for every member?
there won't be a predictable day late January that they can be sure ahead of time it will be over 40 degrees. There’s a non described Mardi Gras member bonus event in late January, so you never know.
ALL coasters close < 40 degrees, no exceptions, Been bit by that but still enjoyed Mardi Gras 2021 despite it be a nice balmy 38 degrees - you still get some free food.I would imagine we'll see the ride being tested more as the weather gets cooler. Easy way to find out if it can operate year round.....when it opens......at some point
During Mardi Gras this year, a guy working in one of the shops was explaining to me and my (adult) son about Cajun and Creole food. I mistakenly commented that it's all great, I just call it all Cajun. Oh, boy did we get dressed down by a teenager about the Creoles (his ancestry were the sophisticated ones) and the Cajuns were - paraphrasing but basically no better than us stupid rednecks. We were at a loss for words. All we could manage to do was laugh our asses off and walk outI am just excited to hear people on the train that say "I have been coming here for 20 years" mislabel this coaster when talking to a family that is there for the first time.
I have experienced this multiple times. Best ones I have heard are the "experienced parkgoers" calling the DF queue house Festhaus, the Rhine River the James River, and calling Griffon Alpengeist. I choose not to speak up because I like watching the world burn.
I finally asked about it and received a reply that their marketing dept had not yet sent out any emails but were definitely tracking visits. Wouldn't that be the same dept that wrote it up saying it may take "up to a week" to receive an acknowledgment?? And for reference, it took approximately a week to get that answerHas anyone gotten their "passport to thrills" invitation yet? I've visited way more than three times since that was announced and I still haven't gotten the special email invitation.
It barely crested the top hat and it was completely empty thoughI'm honestly surprised they finally got it past launch 1
The fact that no park has ever raffled off seats on a promotional shoot for charity is disheartening.I am hearing rumors that the reason for the testing is that staff members MAY be riding soon for a promotional shoot.
Because enthusiasts would be the only ones to sign up and they’re the only ones who write reviews, which ruins the whole point of not opening the coaster. The fact that no park has ever raffled off seats on a promotional shoot for charity is disheartening.
