I think the hand rails on the bridge are new and there is now this piece of "themeing" infront of the bridge. testing wise so far nothing but I only just arrived and there are people in the station so I anticipate something soon.

Can you see anything new in the plaza, or is everything still the same.

Not yet trying to catch the train to get a decent angle to see for sure but sadly they are ONCE AGAIN running one train and even with light crowds people don't want to walk in the heat so it's hard to get on.

I love that BGW seems to really be trying to “jazz up” the Pantheon ride area. They aren’t the World’s Most Beautiful Theme Park for nothing! Hopefully we’ll being seeing even more as we get closer to the opening date (whenever that is).

It's a decent decorative touch but not what I would characterize as real themeing.

At what point do decorative touches become theming? All the stuff at Twisted Timbers seems to be considered theming, but isn't it all just decorative touches? There's just more of it. So if they keep adding more "decorative touches", how much will be enough to be "theming"?

In my opinion theming involves a story and ideally approaches some level of immersion. We have always known that there would be signage and other decorations in the queue and station. That isn't the same thing has conveying a story or taking you into a different world.

Before people jump in with sarcastic and snarky comments about BGW not being Disney, in my opinion InvadR (as just one example) achieved that goal.

Regardless of the reasons for the lack of a real story or effort at immersion, BGW has done it in the recent past and has chosen not to for Pantheon.
