To add onto this; i’ve been told there’s a lot more decorative touches to be added and a lot of it is arriving right now
There was a trailer on site again today but it was still parked in such a way to give no view. I will be back again tomorrow for updates.

In my opinion theming involves a story and ideally approaches some level of immersion. We have always known that there would be signage and other decorations in the queue and station. That isn't the same thing has conveying a story or taking you into a different world.

Before people jump in with sarcastic and snarky comments about BGW not being Disney, in my opinion InvadR (as just one example) achieved that goal.

Regardless of the reasons for the lack of a real story or effort at immersion, BGW has done it in the recent past and has chosen not to for Pantheon.

This makes sense. Though it's hard to say for sure at this point that a story is not being told. A hand holding a rocky sword could certainly be part of a story.

i’m going to hold my criticisms until we see the FINAL product

If that was targeted at me, I have not criticized anything. I have reported on what they told us previously at media events and answered a question about the difference between decorating and theming. I have always said that I will withhold judgement on any ride, until I experience the final product.

Not targeted at you at all, i was just on the subject of theming, your good.

I honestly wonder if the frankly disastrous PR situation with park ops might push the park to open Pantheon earlier then some think. They have been getting hammered on all forms of social media lately and it wouldn't surprise me if someone said hey if we open Pantheon as soon as we can it will make people forget that Spring Break disaster.

Even if they get Pantheon open, the main disaster is around everything that makes people who either don’t do rides or don’t care much about rides enjoy the park. Opening Pantheon isn’t going to change perspectives of those who shell out money for food and wine and end up waiting 20-30 minutes for every booth.

Also, if they've been having issues with cost-cutting and staffing, who's to say they wouldn't be subject to even more scrutiny and thus more disappointment when the ride ultimately will have it's first-year jitters.

Well I mean that’s just a part of buying an intamin. Either they open it asap to bring in money, or they delay it, then get mauled again for when the inevitable maintenance nightmare occurs. Damned if they do damned if they dont

Take a pissed off crowd and upset them further vs holding off until everyone calms down...

It's not going to make those complaints disappear but what image is better when you search the park post solely about lines and poor guest experience or safe 60 percent about that and 40 about Oh my God I just road Pantheon and it's incredible?

SEAS would be better off getting in front of Universal on the calendar, otherwise Veloci might suck all the oxygen out of the room marketing and media wise.
Kind of an apples and oranges comparison considering their local markets. If anything it probably hurts IG more than Pantheon
