I really wish more rides had on ride storage.

Back to Pantheon, lets hope construction/testing finishes up early next year so that it is tested early for opening day if we get back to normal

short ride? By the time one is done with the course the next should be ready
Yes. It's a launch coaster, even though multi-launch. I got about 1:35 duration from the animated POV, about 1:00 less than most B&Ms.

It does have a block brake of sorts, at the main launch.

correct me if I’m wrong but can’t every launch be used as a block? Also every launch has a brake system of some sort in the event of a rollback.

So think of it this way then - there's effectively 3 blocks if you include station to launch, launch to final brake run, and the station itself.

To get decent capacity without constantly stacking you'd have to only run 2 trains.

You could also be held at both launches so there's really 4 block sections.

Technically maybe, but would it be realistic to dispatch a train if the previous train hadn't cleared the tophat? Without that happening, there could effectively be stacking on the first launch.

The first launch as a block doesn't give much advantage, as is the case with most launch coasters unless they have 2 loading stations. But they could launch a new train as soon as the previous one clears the top hat, and there would never be any interference unless the first main brake locked up (I experienced on Dominator) or the train got stuck/failed. That would require dispatching a train in less than 1:35 even for that; the theoretical capacity could be as high as 60 trains an hour. I doubt there's enough blocks around the station to hold a third train, but no point.

I agree it wouldn't make much sense. Just pointing out that technically it could be considered a block section and if for some reason the switch track fails you could be held at that launch.

Ultimately I think with the ride length though there isn't enough time for another train. By the time they get the second train ready to dispatch the first train should be hitting the final break run.

does anyone have the numbers on the theoretical capacity per hour of pantheon? i know intamin rides are very inaccurate before open when it comes to those numbers, i’m concerned that the capacity will suck

It’s two 20 person trains with the most simplistic restraints you’ll find on a fairly short ride course, the capacity won’t suck.

I noticed several vehicles leaving from the gate by Apollo on Wednesday when I was waiting for the toll booth. Dies anyone know if work has started again?

Could that be more related to prepping for opening Festa than for Pantheon?
depending on what vehicles they were. If they were heavy duty constructions vehicles I’d say probably Pantheon but if they were regular vehicles I’d say Festa.

EDIT: you could also make a guess of what they were doing based on how many vehicles it was.

I’m just throwing this out there. The views of Pantheon from Festa, that bridge, and the train station will be AMAZING. I’m also Curious If the construction wall has changed.

EDIT: Upon further review it appears as if the construction wall was removed. This was taken on July 30, 2020

there were 4 of them no park markings on any of them that I could see which was what got me thinking maybe Pantheon. All pickups and SUVs

What's the guess on how many people will mistake the bridge as the train station entrance?
