I have built 1 before. They are thin flat metal cutouts that you bend and slide into the base. They are pretty easy to assemble. No cars or moving parts.

I have an Apollo’s Chariot one and will say that there are quite a few sharp pieces from the metal so if you aren’t careful it can hurt a bit. ?

Why wouldn't they? I took GoPros on VB before it officially opened.

I wasnt able to be there opening day, but I first rode tempesto about 2-3 weeks after opening with my GoPro and no one had an issue.

The first time I rode Tempesto during its opening season, there was a small two-person helicopter hovering weirdly close to it for several minutes. I was told it was taking video and pictures.

Launching up that climbout to the slow roll with a bloody helicopter right there... wish I had a GoPro that day.

Yeah, I have known of executives who have lied to guests about a helicopter being used for "marketing" purposes in an effort to not freak guests out or cause a panic about a helicopter that is clearly way to close to the coasters.

Backlot Stunt Coaster opened in 2006, the helicopter is part of the theming...

I think it's an aerial using a HDR photography technique. But I could be wrong.

It looks like an aerial shot with a tilt-shift effect applied. It makes the subject appear as if it were a plastic model.

It also does a good job of making it completely uninteresting to me as I can’t see 80% of the ride.
