I would think JCC would reopen much sooner than BGW but once they do there will be a huge backlog. The park could hire independent inspectors or could already be using them. Many large projects have private inspectors, although Pantheon isn’t considered that large.

Does anyone's commute take then down 60 next to the park? Every time I've driven down 64 recently I've been making a point to detour down the BGW exit to see if I can spot activity at Pantheon.

If anyone happens to be driving by one day and spots trains moving, let me know ASAP and I can try to get out there to film some testing!

I had surgery a month ago which has kept me from work, I was encouraged by my doctor to be active yet not lift alot. My solution to all of the above has been dashing or UE.... I live in Williamsburg and almost pass the park daily to catch any potential testing. I haven't seen any movement within the park since last Sunday and that was Griffon testing full runs; I on 60 making a pickup from the double golden arches.

Some gems:
"we don't know where those multi launches will be, if I had to guess, they'll be spread out over the course of the ride."

"This is hopefully a step up over Finnegan's flier which really didn't impress me; it kind of just rocks you back and forth. I haven't actually ridden it, so maybe I should ride it before I knock it."

He also for some reason feels like he has to explain inversions.

And the graphic he used to explain drop angle makes 0 sense.

I don't think anyone does really.

To eek out those figures is incredibly difficult.

I.e. what percentage of attendance growth do you attribute to the new ride vs people who would have come anyway?

What percentage of people who attended last year only came back because of a new attraction?

I don't think these are factors that anyone can reasonably put numbers too and I doubt if any of the corporates are looking for hard numbers on things like this.

They are probably just estimating an ROI when they approve a project, but after its built, unless you survey every guest that comes through the turnstiles, there will never be a firm number, just an estimate.

I'm sure there are computer algorithms that exists. You have to figure that whomever pitches the Board with a project comes in with all sorts of data supporting the expenditure. Then, after it's open, they'll track time-in-park, ridership numbers, culinary and merchandise purchases to see what impact they've seen.

I truly can't believe he couldn't find any information about Pantheon before making that video. There's literally NUMEROUS videos speaking about the details of the coaster. Someone commented and said that we know where the launches are, the speed, and the inversions. He replied back with "Thanks for the insight. I didn't find that in any of my research". Umm.....it's obvious he didn't even try lol geez. I tried to watch the video and I couldn't get through it. He "hopes" Pantheon is a step up over Finnegan's Flier? A FREAKING INTAMIN COASTER WILL CLEARLY BE A STEP UP FROM A DAMN SWING. Oh God....

I know right? But he hasn't even ridden Finnegan's to know.

Yes it's a swing. But it's a darn good swing.

But of course an intamin coaster will be many levels of step up.

He could find out the speed from the dang announcement video. He obviously doesn’t know what RCDB is.
 
With Virginia Public Schools announcing a closure for the rest of the academic year, and experts saying the worst is yet to come in the US, we may possibly have to start mentally preparing for Pantheon (and all other coasters finishing this year) to not open until late this year/next year.

Interestingly, construction are considered essential. So the construction would technically be allowed to continue.

Wasn't specified. But I'm imagining that if construction workers can keep working and maintain social distancing, there should be no issue. Why put a bunch of construction workers out of jobs when they can do what they need without risk of spreading the illness?
