Do you think that Pantheon construction will come to a halt now that the park will be closed until the end of March?
I'd think that would be up to the contractor(s). Until it's signed off by BGW/SEAS it's in their hands. I doubt BGW ops training will happen in the near future.

From what I understand today is when they were supposed to get started in earnest but everything is up in the air because no one knows how long they will actually be closed

It actually says that they will be open on April 1st on their site and app so I dont think that pantheon will open with the park.

Yes the announcement yesterday only said they were closing through the end of March. That coincides with most school shutdowns. I think the idea is to reassess

They would really have to kick it in gear to be ready by then and pray COVID-19 doesnt get worse. Maybe the week later if we're lucky.

Yeah there’s no way this opens as soon as the park opens lol. That being said it was tracking towards mid-late April anyways.

From what I understand the park is still operating behind the scenes like the off season. So there are people there working currently and it would seem that they will be continuing to work on everything through the coming weeks.

I have friends who were told that the choice was theirs as to whether they continue to work and get paid or use PTO and stay at home. Some people have jobs they can do from home and they are being given the opportunity but not everyone has that luxury. Very few people at BGW even have a laptop that they could take home if they wanted.

I think a big benefit to the amusement industry as a whole is that its a much smaller offseason staff compared to when there are guests around.

So for what that means as of right now for pantheon IMO should only mean that they might not have TM's in to be training them on ride operations right now. The teams needed for testing aren't hundreds of people, rather 20-40 which is fine to work together as long as the sick stay home. I hope more places start with implementing self temperature checks each morning.

That is definitely the idea. BGW confirmed as much on social.
