I think this is far enough from town that it wont affect the sightlines. Only 10 feet taller at the spike than purple and yellow apollo nearby.

Does Busch not have to paint their rides to blend into the sky anymore past a certain height?
Who ever said that ? I think the blues of griffon was an aesthetic choice not mandated by JCC seeing as supposedly you're flying on the wings of the magical Griffon honestly the train colors don't make much sense either IMO. Mach tower as the tallest ride to date with the giant yellow cap on it but maybe that sone

They have to get their paint colors approved by JCC depending on the sightlines the county might request colors that blend more.

Actually IIRC Griffon is a case where the county told BGW it needed to blend in because it's so visually dominating. Griffon is probably the only example. Mach tower even with it's yellow doesn't dominate the skyline like Griffon

IIRC it more has to do with visibility from Kingsmill than it has to do with height. Hence why everything west of the Rhine with a height waiver has a sky color (Griff, Alp, Mach, likely 2021); and everything East with a height waiver isn’t sky colored (FF, Temp, Nessie, Apollo, Partheon).

I wanna say that AC was staged in the France lot, but I was 6 at the time, so I may not be remembering it correctly. Most of the recent projects were staged in the employee lot, even Tempesto. Those pics almost look like England, but it could also be in the backarea near Entertainment and the warehouse (where VB was).
