I believe Zachary and Nicole usually don't post anything officially from the BGWFans site until they independently verify information though reputable sources they know first-hand, or though indisputable evidence. With that being said, I doubt they will update the front-page article based solely on what RCDB has published until they can verify for themselves that the information is accurate.
IIRC, and hard to verify at this point, but I think RCDB had RMC listed as Kennywoods new coaster manufacturer for a long time before taking it down.
EDIT: I don't want to imply that RCDB is wrong in this case, but until things are confirmed to multiple sources saying the same thing it's hard to 100% buy these reports of knowing what it is.

I'm confused. I was just at Busch Gardens yesterday, and didn't see any of this. Yet clearly they couldn't have put it up overnight...

If, in fact, this is what's coming, I agree it's pretty darn cool. I only hope that the powers-to-be see to it that the ride is properly themed like Alpengeist and not some halfway attempt like Invadr. They need to be incorporate some of the subterranean work shown in Intamin's video and some "near miss" effects with trees and terrain ala Cheetah Hunt.
Side note, if we are getting an Intamin Shuttle even remotely like this (awesome), this makes Tempesto even more unnecessary and useless. It's almost like a park having a Dive Machine and sticking Gravity Max from Taiwan right next to each other. Projects like this emphasize the importance of properly forecasting/planning rides down the road so ride concepts are not so similar to each other, even though they may be years apart or only different in size/scale.
Hoping this turns out to be front page news for the coaster community when it's unveiled, actually breaks some important records, and stands out, both above the treeline and in the realm of rides on the East Coast. We need a big one badly.

I could see Tempesto getting relocated like Wilde Maus. Maybe to San Antonio since San Diego and Tampa already have SRIIs? Then again, San Antonio isn't one to speak. They have two Batman clones (one at Six Flags, one at SeaWorld).
I mean I think Tempesto is fun. Not sure what else they would do with that space.
Sorry to sound like an ass, but why should I care about Parc Asterix’s new coaster and it looking awesome. That layout doesn’t fit what we know, so the chances of it being similar are low.
Looks nuts, could suck. Animated POVs do little for ride experience. This is like saying you won’t like the GotG coaster because you don’t like Escape from Gringotts. The chances of them being similar to that level are slim.

Agreed. SRII’s get too much unwarranted hate. Granted the comfort collars are HORRIBLE, and I wish they would adopt the Vekoma style if they want it, but as a ride experience it’s fun.
Tempesto is basically a glorified flat ride but it’s fun and SeaWorld got it for cheap.
I mean the slide showed a few elements that showed up here (wave turn, top hat, drop into ditch) and the RPA plan shows a similar pullout from the drop and a Mav-style twist following so I’d expect something similar.
Also this is not gonna suck lol. Those are RMC tier elements. Only issue may be the switch track technology and getting to work regularly.

I'd rather have Tempesto than a lot of rides out there that's for sure. I'm glad SEAS got on a Sky Rocket II buying trend instead of a Larson Super Loop trend like Six Flags did.
Can we stop taking this slide as gospel as to what the ride is going to be. There is 0 context on that slide to anything and the RPA buffer shows a grand total of 20-30 supports, not enough to confirm anything.
^Agreed. I really want more evidence to support what this ride is. If it does end up being what that slide indicates then cool that will be an awesome new ride for Busch Gardens. I am not trying to rain on anybody's excitement parade though. I'm just taking a "wait and see" approach to this until more evidence comes up or BGW announces something.
With the exception of a few vocal members I think that's where most people are at. To any passers by:
The slide has NOT been confirmed as an official internal document.
The Manufacturer has NOT been confirmed as Intamin.
The ride style has NOT been confirmed to match the one seen at IAAPA
I have seen no evidence that is above the scrutiny of foundless internet rumors.
The first one was confirmed as real and from SeaWorld. The second one is kind of classified but rumblings say Intamin. Third yeah it’s not a confirmed clone. I just said that it’s probably gonna be in that vein with layout differences of course.
I agree with you. I thought the Intamin coaster announcement at IAAPA was for parks across the pond, plus if the Parx Asterix is getting that in 2021 how would it be new innovation, concept and design if BGW would get it in 2020. I just hope its another great coaster for BGW, so I can come up in 2020 and check it out. I'm not sure if this was said or anything been trying to read thru before I post, but is it true that the new Project Madrid coaster is gonna be an actual Italy expansion, and not Spain? I think Italy needs an expansion and hopefully get rid of the dead end area over at Roman Rapids. I can't wait to see what you guys are gonna get, love to watch the excitement of a new coaster or attraction being built. Plus, I hope BGW goes with some unique name with the new coaster and some good theme areas and que.
IF the PowerPoint slides are real then cool. However I remain skeptical as I am of basically all leaks of any kind. Arguing about believing them doesn't really accomplish much and any skepticism of this isn't just crazy. It's not wise to believe everything you see online. Imagine going to facebook comments and believing everything everyone says there. I am excited for whatever the new attraction ends up being. In the meantime there's a cool new shiny S&S Screamin' Swing opening soon.
