Checks out. I mean, they were silver...

On a semi-related note, did anyone else take the time to admire the welds on the Drachen Fire supports while the ride still stood? Goodnight! By early 90s standards they were massive and beautiful!

As long as they are better than the Knoebels pierogies, which are the only amusement park pierogies I have had, and which were pretty awful.

I feel like BGW could pull it off.

Kennywood makes good fried pierogies. Actually.....you can get great pierogies anywhere in Pittsburgh.

Supports don’t match with the concept that was shown.

Yes but this tower is spiral and the tower in the mocks isn't. ALSO this one isn't 300+ft. What I'm saying is that a shuttle coaster with dark ride elements (twisty track at bottom) could fit very easily at BGW. Stop nitpicking. I'm not saying it's a clone. I'm saying "hmmmmm here's a manufacturer that's not Intamin doing something similar that could be the inspiration of or a placeholder for our 2020 attraction".

Hmmmmm check out this Premier coaster headed to Qatar hilariously named 'Dragon Fire'. I dunno you guys, beginning to look much more probable imo.
Yeah, but it's inside a mall. Coaster footage near the end of the video.

The one thing I'll say about the idea of a large Premier launcher is that it would be very price competitive.

I hope to god it’s not Premier.

They haven’t made a ride yet that is more than “okay”.

I know. I was just pulling your chain.

omg I hate you haha

But the more time that goes by, the more... excited? I am that this leak could be accurate. The tower could be 315ft tall with a ~250ft drop and a 76mph launch with, potentially, the fastest moment not at the beginning, but over the water in that drop by the Rhine. Imagine a dark ride section beforehand too. Premier is kind of on fire right now and the twisty twisty could be a good addition to their catalog without directly competing with i305 or Apollo's with a B&M giga. "Shuttle" could refer, specifically, to the first few launches. The only thing I remain iffy on is "Family" but think that could have more to do with height restrictions than anything.

Also, hi everyone, glad there's something super interesting happening at BGW again ;)

Regardless of who builds it, it's my hope that it's "two coasters in one". I'm all for the Soaring with Dragon style back and forth multi-launch (or Premier, S&S or anyone else if they can go that high) with a large loop and top hat or whatever. But I really hope the "second half" is more Taron/BBW/Cheetah Hunt terrain follow with obligatory buildings/rocks/trees/tunnel(?) etc. Basically, if the speed and heights don't get you at first then the second half "near misses" will make you wanna get right back in the queue.

BTW, what is the swale they seem to be adding right in the middle of the "final drop to the Rhine" I see on the RPA drawing? Ideas?
