RE: Project Madrid: New Hamlet? Giga Coaster? 315' Tower?
Some might see it as replacing one signature piece of beauty for a new one.

No because the theater isn’t 315 feet tall.
The answer is yes, they very well could be.
We honestly don't have any real data to say that the soil tests on either side of the Rhine are connected other than the fact that they are occurring around the same time.
Joe said:I personally hope this is not a coaster. That gorgeous view of the railroad trestle crossing the Rhine is my favorite view in the entire park, and to imagine such a serene image marred with hunks of steel track buzzing with coaster trains saddens me.
Many signs point to Project Madrid being a coaster, sure, and (in the short term, at least) giant new coasters pull in more revenue than pretty shots of bridges. But in the opinion of this fan, sacrificing a signature piece of the park's beauty for another scream machine just takes away one more thing that makes Busch Gardens so special.

Right now, we are lumping all of the site work together assuming it is for a single project. We have no proof that is the case though. We'd do well to keep that possibility in mind.
I will be updating the Project Madrid page on BGWFans to reflect this as well.
Youbare assuming that the work in Festhaus park is related to the height waver. It is possible if unlikely that they could build a 315 tower ride in the field and something else in the park.madmax said:AIR said:Could they be doing something else to Festhaus Park that's not a roller coaster? Considering it’s proximity to the Rhine it might limit the possibilities.

I do not quite trust the picture with the intamin logo and words on it. It could easily be a fake i say this because we saw the "leaked plans" for the SFFT Wooden Coaster turn out to be fake.Zachary said:None of the images posted actually contained anything at all that would even hint at the existence of a ride layout. Contour lines and text that included the word "Intamin" are just about all that was visible. Anything of any value was intentionally hidden (assuming it was there at all... which, honestly, is probably a pretty unsafe assumption).
