RE: Project Madrid: New Hamlet? Giga Coaster? 315' Tower?

Shh! You're going to spoil my tell-all book coming to Amazon in 2034 for the low, everyday price of $19.99!

In all seriousness, I can safely say this isn't the case.

Can I prebuy that?

RE: Project Madrid: New Hamlet? Giga Coaster? 315' Tower?

So, might be a silly question....but whats the reputation thing about?

It is a way to reward another member, whom you think has contributed to the discussion in a positive and meaningful way.

Or just this.

So when I was there yesterday, I did take another picture which I didn't think anything of, but now I realize it might have a strong significance upon further investigation.  What if there was a way for the park to do some convert landscaping before the permits were approved?  A way for the park to get a head start on the project?  The thing I found would explain the need for electrical work in the area and possibly additional fencing to hide a maintenance bay.  This isn't 100% confirmed, btw, but given how the industry evolves quickly and the heated competition in the area, the park might have thought it was necessary to bend the rules.  Please keep in mind that I am putting my season pass at risk by posting this, but I thought it was important for the people here to know.

It is possible that the park has a contract with Sally Corp to develop animatronic deer to slowly terraform the area to make way for the new coaster.  JCC officials will not ask any questions if they see some very hungry deer in the area and would also allow the park to bypass Chesapeake Bay Watershed laws.  This also explains the electrical work, Bitten being removed, and the new fencing.

I theorize that the old Drachen Fire station is being used to hold the dirt that the deer deposit each night.  My math also suggests that the area could be lowered up to ten feet by the start of next season if they keep up their current pace.  I did see a lone deer in Festa as well, so they're probably starting work there as well.

So I get your post is 99.9% sarcasm, however with the bolded....they theoretically could. They could clear out some overgrowth, start planting some trees in other areas to be ready for when JCC says ok to go high paced with clearing a path.

This is the type of high-quality speculation and data gathering that people come to ParkFans.net everyday for.

To be honest, I can't actually be mad because no one has threatened to stab anyone else yet as happened a little while back in another such thread. With that in mind, fences and robotic deer are actually good topics of discussion...

RE: Project Madrid: New Hamlet? Giga Coaster? 315' Tower?

Thomas should at least provide photographic evidence for his insane star flyer theories like I did.

RE: Project Madrid: New Hamlet? Giga Coaster? 315' Tower?

Really? Threatening to stab someone? I could see tempers flaring based on some comments I've seen but wow.
SN- if i already knew what was really going on in the park as far as this new ride I wouldn't get excited about someone else telling me land is being cleared.

Threatening to stab another forum member is really poor form.

Don't threaten to stab people. Promise to stab people.

RE: Project Madrid: New Hamlet? Giga Coaster? 315' Tower?

If this ride isn't a star flyer, I will stab Zachary. That's how confident I am in my sources. No more proof needed.

What are your opinions on the prospect of Busch working with RMC for a major T-REX style coaster (if this is indeed a coaster)? Have any Sea World parks dealt with them, and what is the general consensus on their quality/work ethic etc?

I like the T-Rex concept, and it is full of versatility, giving Busch a unique coaster style that not many parks have, and to that proposed height, wow. That track style is truly awesome to look at, I'm sure even more exhilarating to ride.

Also, if someone on the Busch design/theme team is reading this, a great idea for a coaster addition in that proposed region would be to theme it behind the idea of discovering unknown lands, or "Terra Incognita." The term came up during Phtolemy's work during The Age of Discovery. Look it on up Google and I think you'd agree its an interesting concept which Busch could do well...

...Or this going to be the largest themed Star Flyer Earth has seen.
