RE: Project Madrid: New Hamlet? Giga Coaster? 315' Tower?

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe that brown wall has been seen before. Like I said, please correct me.

I think that brown wall might be for cornered- but idk because I've never been to howl-o-scream. All that I know is that last year, I remember being a brown fence wall in a cornered POV.

^ Is BGW your home park?

Yes, but when I ride the train I don't pay attention to things like that.

Cornered is on the other side of the festhaus, so this fence wouldn't be for that maze.

According to one of my sources (who has proven to be trustworthy as everything he has said in the past has been true), "I'm with my brother and he said after the leak earlier everything going on currently is being kept under wraps". His brother is apart of management at the park.

Ok, thanks for the clarification, I'm finally going to howl-o-scream this year so I'll understand more about this area once I finally go.

On a different note, there are a few cleared patches of trees that I don't remember being cleared, and the last time I went on the train was in august.

Which fence do you mean? We rode the entire train circuit yesterday and noticed nothing new?

A brown fence near the end of the video. It was put up within the past 3 days.

The small extension that has been made to that brown fence is likely for Howl-O-Scream. Historically that road has been used as a queue for LumberHack. Don't see why this year would be different.

Even if we assume for a moment that you are right about Project Madrid, why would the park construct a few yards of new fence in an area that is perfectly visible anyway? And this far out from actual notable work on the site? It makes zero sense.

Because lumberhack is using bittens old entrance.

Sorry, not following.  Does the video show or say something that I missed?

Is the point the brown fence?  Is that even new?  To Zachary's point, HOS versus Madrid makes more sense, if it is.

I'm not sure it is even new though...

Do you mean the same brown fence that you can briefly see here (in May, 2016)?  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBBZc-Sg-zc   (Around minute 3:24--unfortunately they pan left right after that...but even the talk track is practically lined up the same).

The brown fence above also seems like it's been there awhile.  Look at the base of it; it's weathered.  Looks like the sandy soil of hampton roads splashed up along the bottom due to wind and rain.  Not sure it would look like after 3 days...

RE: Project Madrid: New Hamlet? Giga Coaster? 315' Tower?

So some real questions here with this whole rumor and everything:

The park owns a good amount of land there. If this is a coaster, could it "Landlock" them so to speak and make it hard to expand anymore. I know BGW is already a good size park, and the idea of expansion might see out there, but it would be nice to keep the possibility open.

I guess my mind keeps wandering to the possibility of a future on property hotel/resort.

The brown fence has been there since day 1 for Lumberhack. That video shows nothing new or noteworthy.

There was an extension to the brown fence made during Christmas town of last year. It wasn't new. The first part of the brown fence had been there since bitten.

RE: Project Madrid: New Hamlet? Giga Coaster? 315' Tower?

After Analyzing multiple train footages, I can conclude that the extension of the Wallis added when a project uses the space back there. During Christmas town of last year, the wall was put up because InvadRs parts were stored back there. The wall was then taken down for the 2017 season. The wall is now up most likely for Project 19. It has nothing to do with HoS because the extension was down for all of HoS. Picture 1 shows the wall down during August of last year. Photo 2 shows it up during Christmas Town of last year most likely because InvadRs bents were stored in the area. Photo 3 shows the wall down during August of 2017. Photo 4 then shows the wall back up most likely for 2019 work.

That's what we don't know yet. It could be electrical work, or construction. People have seen work being done inside and around the station. The wall could indicate that true construction is about to start, or it could just be to keep the public eye away from it.
