I think I know the one your talking about. Him laughing over his shoulder about larger guests is enough. I was hoping he would get weeded out but seems not.
It was to the point that my gf couldn’t continue with the day at the park and had to sit out on riding. This was ridiculous and was definitely wondering if others had experienced the same from that employee

Me and my GF went to Busch a few weeks ago to ride pantheon and this sadistic employee who (I’m assuming an international) also worked on tempesto forcefully pushed our harnesses to the point my gf experienced heavy cramping and my thighs were completely messed up after riding both coasters* ( disclaimer tempesto is barely a coaster). This employee also gave a huge smirk when pushing on said seats which angered me tremendously. This thigh crush has got to stop

I'm lost. Why do you assume he was not American?

over the shoulder restraints would also give some extreme headbanging due to the intense laterals at the end of pantheons layout. thats why they don’t have the hard plastic restraints on I305 anymore.

If it’s the same guy I had after the third time pushing the harness he was talking but in such broken english I couldn’t understand him. He just was standing there with his arms crossed. Eventually another team
member came over and explained my harness wouldn’t lock (even though it was green). He booted 3 people from his side of the train just that one load while the left seats no one was booted.
Also you can’t be serious with your question……the park hires hundred of team
members from other countries. And if this guy is american and is just playing a game of not speaking english he needs to be fired.

If course I am serious. The comment that he is probably an international worker was made with no reference to anything other than claims that he is abusive.

If this is the same person, your comment about his "broken English" is the first explanation I have seen that could be construed to demonstrate that he isn't American. I'm not sure what the rest of your story has to do with his national origins, however, unless you believe that an American couldn't do any of those things?

On a related note, I'm not sure what his nationality has to do with the complaints about his behavior, regardless.

I will say regarding Pantheon's train design, I have slightly longer legs and had a hard time with how low the seats were. During some of the most intense parts of the ride, I felt like my legs were being crushed between the restraint and the ground when I was keeping my legs at 90 degrees. It was slightly more comfortable to cross my legs and tuck them under the seat, but that wasn't as ideal. I have heard VelociCoaster's seats are more raised, and I wonder why there is a distinction between the respective train designs

They are called internationals within the park. Literally what they are referred to as because they are not from America and are on work visas during the slow part of the year and into the summer to fill in hiring gaps for the park. This has been what Busch has done for years

I worked at Busch for years as administration he was an international… come on

A worker outsourced from another country that the park brings in as the season is slow and rolling into the summer

You seem to have missed my point completely.

I know what international workers are. What I don’t know are:

1. What his nationality has to do with tbe rest of your post, which seems to be a complaint about his performance as a ride op; and
2. What led you to believe that he isn’t American, since you provided zero evidence for that seemingly unrelated statement.

Finally rode Pantheon today! Waited an extra half hour over high winds, but it was worth the wait. It kicks Twisted Timbers out of my top five. Probably my favorite part was the launch's airtime hill in reverse, but I loved the hangtime on the inversions and the ejector going down the top hat. My one ride was in the back car. I'm a short guy, so the seating was very comfortable.

The sparse theming is less of an issue than I thought. It's in the Festa area, which is already a low bar, and the flags in the station go a long way. Now if there was theming in the field, it'd be lush by Festa standards.

And can we have this thread in Attractions now or spin off the relevant posts or something? I had trouble finding this thread.

Does anyone else think pantheon desperately needs a single rider line? The amount of empty or 1-person filled rows I see is pathetic.
They were having enough problems sorting out QQ riders the last time I rode it I can't imagine a single rider line would help much with dispatch and loading times.

Many of those single empty seats are because they have boooted riders for restraint issues. That means they have already spent a great amount of time fiddling around there while the rest of the train waits. Now try to add a person in that seat who may or may not also have restraint issues. I feel like they just in this situation cut their losses and dispatch the train. This in by no means I forgive the restraint issues though.

I certainly have seen that, but usually those dispatches take much longer anyways. I have seen empty seats much more frequently than "walk of shames" on this ride. If they implemented single rider into the regular queue and you joined with everyone in the normal station that'd be the best solution... But alas this isnt Universal.

Universal is much better about single rider, of course, but far from perfect. Last weekend at IoA, Hulk and Veloci were dispatching with empty seats frequently enough that it caught my eye, while singles were standing right there in queue. I was in such a row twice myself, and I think I only took 7 coaster rides in total that day.

One consistent element of these partial-row dispatches at IoA, anecdotally at least: interruptions.

In one case when I was in a partially empty row (Hulk), a guy got walked for some reason (possibly being over size). After focusing on that instead of having an op free to look for singles to fill in rows, they immediately got the restraints checked and sent the train. In the other case (Veloci), some kid dropped his hat between train cars on the boarding side, and it landed on top of the rail between wheel assemblies. Bad idea to dispatch in that condition. Ops followed protocol and called maintenance, and the responding guy with mild annoyance reached down casually and grabbed the hat off the track. Then they quickly boarded us and sent the train, with seemingly little or no attention paid to the single rider line. Single rider seems to be the first thing to get deprioritized in such cases, which aren't as rare as one would hope.

Meanwhile at BGW, if you're operating a ride that apparently has frequent restraint issues in the station, and op training and motivation maybe aren't quite as crisp as at Uni...
