I'd be happy with speakers near the launches to cover up the LSM screech. Maverick has a train sound effect in the main launch tunnel.

Here's an aerial of Pantheon switch (ACE video from Dec.) and Hagrid's.

My guess @ControlsEE that Pantheon probably has two "checks" for the switch track. I would guess it won't Dispatch until the switch is in the correct position. The second check (albeit redundant) would be the first launch not happening if the switch failed.

For Hagrid, the switch track is pretty far into the circuit. So the brakes just before the switch may be the safety valve. Or, the train speed is adjusted (up or down) to take the spike at the current speed. Just guesses.
Yes, for safety, the switch will be in the merging position to dispatch and in the through position to launch backwards. And take it from me, there will be a LOT more than 2 checks to keep it from running off the track.

Well InvadR also has a really nice entry portal with NO surprises in the queue so I guess it’s just a matter of how we perceive what we’ve been given. We could be pleasantly surprised or we could be disappointed, but we shouldn’t make serious assumptions until we see it.

Question that someone posed on a different site: does it look like there won't be LSMs on the launch hill? Or are the brake fins adjacent or something? What do we think is going on there?

Are my eyes deceiving me - in the lower right corner it looks like a support not attached to a footer or cross-support?

What launch hill are you referring? Launches 2, 3 and 4 are all on the long straight away between the spike and the top hat.

I'm assuming (and I know 100 people will correct my assumption) that these copper things adjacent to the launch track are LSM stators).

It will likely be one of the most minimally themed coasters since Apollo's Chariot. If we're lucky it'll be Tempesto-levels-of-themed in my estimation. (Note, I'm talking sum and detail, not quality. Thankfully Pantheon isn't themed to plywood like Tempesto is.)
